Woah I said no, power flickering! Man, it’s a good thing Renee & I went shopping yesterday instead of today, because it is raining like mad. It’s really nice though. After all the extremely hot weather, I enjoy a bit of change. Usually I dislike the constant rain & cold that comes with what my dad & I like to call ‘the holidays’ but last night I went outside & for some reason, I can’t wait for the cold weather. I usually hate it because for one it’s cold, but my the weather makes my hair look like crap, I’m somehow always sick, and it somehow is depressing.

But then I thought about how I love coming into my my room & it’s the only room that is really warm & be able to wrap myself up in cozy blankets & wear my comfy sweatshirts & drink hot drinks & sit in a window watching the coldness. Perhaps this year I am going to appreciate fall/winter more, since I haven’t in the past. Going to take care of myself so I won’t get sick (going to use hand sanitizer ALL the time!), going to put up decorations & play Christmas music early, going to do shopping early, and going to wear scarves almost everyday. Something to look forward to.

I’ve had a good weekend so far & would like it to get better, but unfortunately stupid French has me making a PowerPoint today instead of hanging out with Sara, whom I haven’t seen in almost a month. I feel really bad because she is in town & wants to hang out with me but I have schoolwork to do. Why is it when I am most busy people suddenly want to hang with me? And then when I have free time everyone else is busy? Grrr.

Yesterday I had loads of run with Renee because we went shopping at the K Street Mall. She had loads of money where I only had $30 and really only $10 of it was for me to spend on lunch. We went to Hard Rock Café for lunch in hopes to see the flavored condom machine in the bathroom but it was taken out! After that we wandered all over the mall looking at stuff & Renee got me a discount on the Strawberries & Champagne Lotion @ Victoria Secrets! I also had my very first Jamba Juice drink ever! I had a Razzmatazz & it was YUMMY! I had a great time with Naner, especially since we haven’t hung out like that in a LONG time.

After working 4 tedious days in a row, I finally get a day off. However I go straight back to work again tomorrow from 5-9pm. I work on 3 days this week: Monday (5-9pm), Thursday (4-8pm), & Friday (5-9pm), and once again no days with HCB. Ah well I guess it is a good thing. Out of sight, out of mind, ya know? Don’t need the extra distraction as it is, since it clearly is a wasteless crush. But yay I get my first paycheck on Monday! Depending upon how much I get, I think I will use whatever I have (minus the $41 I owe my mom & the $14 I owe my sister) to switch hostings for my web site, because I have so many limitations that it sucks.

Tomorrow it is off to school and I really do not want to go. I’d rather stay home. Of course, don’t we all want to say no to school? Yup, I thought so. HAHAHA our school got raped by Galt at the football game on Friday night. 35 to nothing! Sorry I’m not exactly the most enthusiastic person about our football team this year, considering the losers on the team who can’t handle emotional baggage.

Anyways I must be off to work on the lameness that is my French project. Bah humbug says I.
