You ever get tired of hearing nothing but excuses from people? They’re all the victim, everyone owes them something. Nothing is impossible if you have the strong will to make it happen. Sitting around making excuses and giving up is not going to change your situation.

Sorry, very cryptic rant. I just get so frustrated dealing with that BS a lot of the time.

Anyways, I had another good weekend. The only minor annoyance was my continued coughing. This coughing, which is thanks to the heinous cold I got, is the only thing left of it and boy is it taking its time going away. I’ve been taking my prescription cough medicine as often as I can in attempts to make my coughing go away. Probably the most difficult part is waiting for the medicine to sink in allowing me to fall asleep.

Aside from the coughing and being exhausted because of said cough + drugs in cough medicine, I had a rather fun weekend. I got to go to lunch with Joshua, my family, and grandparents and then go to work on Saturday. Sunday was even nicer because I simply went to church, lunch and then lounged about with Joshua for the remainder of the day watching TV. Needless to say, for someone still being sick & tired, it was a nice-paced weekend.

To make up for the nice pace of things from the previous, it has gone back to business this week. I have work everyday except Wednesday & Thursday, and I have a paper due in my Human Sexuality class in which I am to discuss in 3-4 pages the difference between pornography and erotica giving one example of each. I’ve barely written a paragraph of this mainly because I could describe what I to believe my difference in about two sentences. I’ll just have to see where it goes in the next day and a half.

Now, I must see if I can manage a 10-15 minute nap before trotting off to work tonight!

For me, it’s more the complaining on how their life sucks and they’re not good at anything. “I’m not going anywhere - everyone else is in a better position.”

Your position, honey, is all in how you look at it. Anyone can feel sorry for themselves and go nowhere, but it takes a confident and strong willed person to FILL the glass and move forward.

the poor me acts frustrate me beyond all things.
