They Tell Me Your Blue Skies Fade to Grey

Well I feel like a tard! Yesterday I spent almost two hours going through the online catalog trying to figure out my schedule next year only to find out I was looking at the current classes instead of for Fall term. So now it’s back to square one! Gaaaah!

I can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief as the week’s coming to a close. On Tuesday Anna came to me in a panic because Prom is this Saturday and she is without a hairstylist. The only option was either she do it herself or me & Becca come to the rescue. Luckily I was able to EC (Eye Candy, nickname for hot guy at work) to cover my Saturday shift for me so I wouldn’t have to race all the way down the mountain to work. Now I have a lovely weekend to look forward to!

I had an issue that came up this morning right before school, which I wrote about in LJ, and this issue’s outcome, which wasn’t necessarliy the best one, affected me throughout the day. I came forward with a secret to my mom and although she was disappointed, she took it a lot better than I thought she would. Still, I hated that I had to lie to her because I have such a good and trusting relationship with my mom. At least now everything is out in the open.

By the end of the day things got slightly better. I did a wee bit of shopping with my sister while mom was undergoing dental work, and when I came home a “Get Well” card from my grandma along w/$10 was awaiting me. I guess the little things made everything a lot better.

Tomorrow I get to spend 1-10pm at work and then Saturday morning begins my extremely busy weekend. We’ll see how it goes!
