I love it when I have a such a good weekend that it makes the upcoming week more enjoyable, despite how busy it may be! And now that I have Becca as my roomie, I know I won’t have to face the week alone.

When I last blogged I was getting ready to leave for Joshua’s little sister’s (Serena) birthday party. The theme was a spa day therefore we had our hands full. Rebecca did all the girls’ hair while I gave them all pedicures. Joshua’s mom helped me out by giving the girls facials and manicures. We began our tasks around 1pm and didn’t finish till closer to 6pm. Throughout the day we munched on an array of finger foods and sipped Italian Sodas in champagne glasses. At 9pm Becca took off w/her boyfriend (Dawayne) to go to the movies and Joshua & I caught up on TV at my house.

Sunday morning Joshua picked Becca & I up for service and afterwards we all went to lunch at Fresh Choice with Joshua’s whole family. When lunch was over we did some shopping in Folsom and then went to the grocery store to get the food we needed for my mom’s Mother’s Day dinner. Becca & I spent the remainder of the afternoon making my mom’s favorite dish (Chicken Cacciatore) along with chocolate dipped strawberries, apple slices, raspberries and Nilla Wafers for dessert. When my mom came home (she was down in the Bay Area visiting her parents) she was presented with her surprise dinner along with a giant card and coupon book that I made for her. Needless to say she had an awesome Mother’s Day!

Today I woke up early so I could go in to get my haircut! I simply love it! It has so many layers in the back! I love it for the summer because it makes the back of my neck feel cool. I was trying so hard to grow my hair out long, but it didn’t want to grow any longer than shoulder length so I decided to cut it for the summer! W00t!

So right now I am just hanging out at home until I have to go to work tonight from 5:15-10pm. This week they have started assigning me other areas to work, like register and fitting room, instead of the salesfloor. This make me very happy because I like working with people rather than being told to go to one area and put clothes away.

Anyhoo gonna go find something to do until work! Ciao!

Wow your new hair-do is gorgeous! You’re making me want all mine cut off again, but I’m growing mine so…I must be strong! :cheerful:
It’s wierd that you have mother’s day at this time of year. We have it in March and Father’s day in June. I always just assumed they were on the same day everywhere!
