Well my weekend seemed to go quite well! Despite being busy with work, I had a lot of fun. The previous week was busy for me with work since I am now averaging about 30 hours a week at work. During that week I dealt with a lot of stupid customers, mostly towards the end because we had this get-50%-off-cleanrance-items sale. I tell ya, with that sale people were so picky. Even if the item they wanted was marked as $0.97 they would bitch hardcore if that item didn’t ring up at half price.

I also had a customer whose behavior bothered me to no end. This lady came into our store around 9pm, the time when we actually close, but considering there are people still shopping around closing time we usually don’t get people out till about 9:15pm or so. Stupid Lady came through my line and in addition to exchanging a few items she bought $80 worth of clothes all in the same transaction. Because she put her exchange & purchase in the same transaction, the computer looks at whatever items she returned as a discount off her entire purchase. When I finished ringing all her items up, which btw took well over 10 minutes because there were certain items that she thought were on sale so I’d have to make someone go check, she whipped out her “Get $10 Off Your Purchase of $50 or More” coupon. I told her that I cannot add that coupon onto this transaction because she is already getting money taken off her purchase because of her exchange. So what does Stupid Lady do? She decides to make me delete everything off, do the exchange as a separate transaction, and re-ring her $80 worth of clothes. And to top it off she pays for her purchase with … GIFT CARDS!

Customers like that make me so angry because they not only waste my time, but they don’t even give a damn about the line behind them. So selfish.

Saturday after work (I worked 9am-6pm) I came back to my house where I got to enjoy the first swim of the summer in my pool. Joshua came over and then we went to the movies where we saw X-Men 3! Despite the death of some pivotal characters, I thought the movie was brilliant and a perfect end to the trilogy. I think my favorite part was when Magneto rerouted the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island! I’ll tell you though it was quite obvious from the start which car company (Mercedes-Benz) was sponsoring the movie. So yes, I still enjoyed the movie despite whatever qualms other fans may have. Besides, Joshua & I got in the movies for free thanks to my buddy Tim! Yaya!

Sunday Joshua & I went to service in hopes of me possibly seeing Becca and being able to talk to her. Alas she was not there so Joshua & I left service early so I could get a birthday card for Maxine. Then we went over to Maxine’s house for her little barbeque party birthday shin-dig. It was kinda awkward because we were totally divided, mainly because one of my enemies was there and her friends didn’t like me. After awhile Joshua & I left and went back to his house where I got to play with two brand new kittens! We hung out at his house until we had to leave to go pick up Bobby from his work since his car is down. After picking him up and dropping him off we headed back to my house where we swam, ate dinner, and watched TV until he had to go home.

Today begins another week of 34 hours of work. Today is also the Semi-Annual Sale @ Bath & Body Works, which I am going to go to with Maddie, so I’m going to be spending some money. However I am trying to stick with a $60 limit cuz it’s so easy to spend so much money there. Anyhoo, I need to get going so I’m gonna end this for now.
