Thank goodness for days off!

The Friday Five ~
1. What is (or would be) your dream vacation?
Either a trip to Europe or the Disneyland Cruise! And of course going on either those with my boyfriend and/or best friend.

2. What’s one thing no vacation can do without?
Money. Lots of money is a must. Not just for the obvious part of paying for the vacation itself but having spending money! Vacation shopping is so much fun!

3. What has been the best trip of your life so far?
So far it would have been the trip to Disneyland with my mom and sister and the trip to Disneyland for Heritage Festival with the band. Going to Disneyland is the best experience I can ask for and as long as it’s with good people, it will continue to be the best trip of my life.

4. Who was with you on that trip and what is the role of that person in your life?
Well the trip to Disneyland the 2nd going there was with my mom & sister, and then my 3rd trip there was with Maddie, a close friend of mine.

5. What’s the worst thing that can happen during a vacation?
My dad being present. Seriously he is the biggest fun-sucker ever. I hate going on vacations with him.

FINALLY! A day off! I’ve been busy working all week and now my Friday has come at last. I can’t believe how busy I’ve been! I’m practically working full time now. At least when I was working full time last summer I was in front of a computer 8 hours a day so I could at least update throughout the day. Now I’m lucky if I come home awake. Well this week I’ve been working till 10:30pm every night, but next week it’s back to early morning/afternoon shifts, so hopefully I’ll get to get stuff done. Despite being so busy at work, it’s paying off. My boss is really impressed with how I have been doing and wants me to train as a cash-counter, which means I get to close the drawers at night and possibly train new people. I’m so excited!

The last time I wrote here was on a Monday and I did in fact have a fun afternoon. I went down to Folsom and because Maddie was running a wee bit late I ventured into Borders where I bought a map and book on Disneyland vacation planning. When she showed up we bought stuff at Bath & Body Works. I was a little disappointed in what was on sale. Like, I thought they were gonna bring back the $2 deordorants but they didn’t. Still I got many other things I was looking for. After that we wandered around Borders a bit and then I had to get to work.

From Tuesday to yesterday has been nothing but working till 10:30pm. Then today was my day off in which I visited the boy and spent too much money on myself at the mall. I got cool stuff though! I got my body acne spray at Macy’s, a Phantom of the Opera shirt & a Disney Princess shirt at Hot Topic, JELLY SHOES at Rave/Lola, and 2 new bras + 4 pairs of undies from Frederick’s of Hollywood. Yeah, it was a good shopping day!

I came home in hopes of talking to Becca (I’ve been afraid to call fearing her rents would yell at me or something) but turns out she is away with her boyfriend for the weekend. I hope I do get to talk to her and that she wants to talk to me. I miss my best friend.

So anyways now I am just chilling for the rest of the day/evening until my boy comes over to hang with me. Tomorrow I get work 11am-8pm and then after work Joshua is taking me to the Drive-In to see Cars! Sunday we’re going to the Sacramento Zoo and then next weekend we’re going to my grandparents’ house in the Bay Area! Nice to know I have good things to look forward to on the weekends so the week goes by a lot smoother!

Wooo! Nice new shoes, tops and underwear!
And yeah Clinique stuff is amazing…I remember using my gran’s clinique soap one day and using so much there was only a tiny little square left. She went mad…but I swear, it was the cleanest face I ever had! :laugh:
Hope your best friend comes back soon…it sucks to miss your best buddy. But it’ll be awesome when she’s back and you have to catch up.
