Another good Friday!

The Friday Five ~
1. What’s the most embarrassing thing/job you’ve had to do to earn money?
Work at McDonalds. It was only good for three things: meeting Joshua, the paycheck, and the job experience. Everything else was a pain in the ass.

2. What’s the easiest and quickest way you have earned a buck?
I washed my parents vehicles, inside and outside. I don’t mind doing it and they pay me good.

3. If you could set your own salary, according to your skills and worth, how much would you earn?
$12-$15 an hour. Considering how persistent I am when it comes to getting the job done if I like my job, that’s a good salary. Besides, it’s how much Intel paid me to work at a computer.

4. Are you a good saver?
I’m trying to be. I’m working on it slowly. I am a lot better saver than Joshua is, that’s for sure!

5. What’s the most expensive and useless thing you have ever bought?
Despite my spending habits, I tend to be pretty good about what I buy. I don’t spend a lot of money on something useless. If anything, the most money I have ever spent on something was my iPod and that was the greatest investment I have ever made!

Okay so today has been a good Friday and let me tell you why! For starters, when I came into work this morning I got my schedule for next week and not only do I get some free time back again, but they gave me next Saturday off which means I can go to Joshua’s uncle’s wedding!! I was so worried about being able to go because when I tried to request that Saturday off I couldn’t do it because too many people already requested it off. But someone up there loved me enough to give me it off anyway. Then on top of that, they were over in hours this week so instead of me taking a lunch and going home at 5pm, I got to get off work early altogether at 1pm! Yeah, today was a good day!

Tomorrow, I get to go to work from 1-8pm and then after that it’s down to the Bay Area Joshua & I go. I’m so excited about going down there! I haven’t been to my grandparents house in almost a year, mainly because I have been so busy with school and work. But now we get to go out of town for the weekend. We’re planning on going to the Steinhart Aquarium early Sunday morning, have lunch with the family (my parents + sister will be coming down Sunday), spend the afternoon/evening at Fort Cronkite Beach, and then head on home.

Yup, definitely a nice weekend to look forward to!
