Just Work

I was supposed to work 1:30-10:30pm today, but a phone call from work at 8:30am this morning had me coming in from 11am-3pm. Guess they were short on people during the morning and they’re having to cut hours down. It’s no biggie. I don’t mind giving my hours to newbies.

I started my cash-handling training and wow, there’s a lot to take in. Thank goodness I’ll be training for the rest of the week. I feel cool now because with this new position I get other privileges that regular associates don’t have.

Today I got a customer that made me roll my eyes hardcore. She comes into my line wearing an Abercrombie & Fitch jacket, has a Guess purse and a Bebe wallet. She’s buying two children’s sunglasses, both are which $3.50 a piece. She tells me that one of the sunglasses has some scratches on them and is wondering if she can get 10% off. Yeah, the lady who comes in wearing designer brand clothes wants 10% off a pair of sunglasses, which btw the scratches were practically not there! I asked my boss if I could give her the discount and he said just price override it to $2.97. What cheapness man!

Anyways, thats about it for excitement right now. Gonna go download some more songs on my iPod.

Those songs might be scratched. You should see if you can get a discount… ;)
I had a guy try to return a 6 month old, dirt covered fax machine today. Customers are great, aren’t they?
