First and foremost, NEW LAYOUT featuring the lovely Marilyn Monroe! Inspiration comes from the most unique places and in this case I got my inspiration while watching the movie Forrest Gump; I was watching the part where Forrest just shook JFK’s hand telling him, “I gotta pee” and while he’s washing his hands in the bathroom there is an autographed picture of Marilyn Monroe by the sink. Then I remembered back when I made Marilyn icons there were a lot of cute pictures of her in bathing suits so I thought to myself, “LAYOUT TIME!” :D Plus, she’s one of my favorite classic actresses.

I hada pretty good weekend. Spent it all with Joshua as usual. On Saturday he took me to work and then after work we ran a bunch of errands, went out to dinner, and hung out at my house for the evening. Sunday was service, lunch with the family, more apartment hunting, a wee bit of shopping at Arden Fair Mall, and relaxing at home with my family.
Yesterday I was suppose to work but my boss changed it so I didn’t have to. Instead, I went to visit Joshua and went back down to Arden Fair Mall to make a return/exchange at Bath & Body Works; when I went there on Sunday it was their last day of the Semi-Annual Sale and the Memoirs of a Geisha perfume was 75% off! Mind you, I’ve been wanting this perfume even before the movie came out, but I had a heartburn spending $48 on a bottle of it. Naturally I snagged a bottle plus the trial size to keep in my purse since they were both 75% off each. When I came home I discovered my trial size bottle was a tester and half empty. I brought it back and they were more than happy to replace it.
After the mall, I went over to my school’s computer lab in Folsom where I took advantage of the fast Internet to download me some songs/movies off iTunes. This is what I downloaded …
~ “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” - by Katharine McPhee
~ “Life Is A Highway” - by Rascal Flatts (from the movie Cars)
~ “One Man Band” - by Pixar (the short film played before the movie Cars)
~ “Cocaine Blues” - by Johnny Cash
~ “Showtime” - by Nelly Furtado
In addition to those I also downloaded the latest version of iTunes and the new Windows Live Messenger. Then when I came home the CD for SBC Dial-Up Internet was amongst the mail so I got to install new Internet onto the computers as well. It’s not faster but it is better quality meaning it won’t crap out on us. YAY!
Today I’m just chillin until work, which is from 5:30-10pm. I’m closing all week so I can get 100% comfortable with closing the registers down all by myself. I love doing the registers because it occupies my last two hours of work which means NO RECOVERY!
Tomorrow is pay-day (YAY!!!) and then this weekend Joshua & I heading down to the Bay Area since I get the whole weekend off. We’re gonna go bike-riding, which I haven’t done in years so I am pretty stoked. Can’t wait!

Have you ever seen the show “So You Think You Can Dance”? Its by the same people that do American Idol, actually, it pretty much IS American Idol, except with dancing. The auditions on this are hilarious..some people just….need to stop…haha.
Have fun at work! :cheerful::pirate:
