Yesterday, I was working at the register ringing this lady up when this young guy behind her began flirting with me. I don’t know how it happened but next minute I know me, the lady in front of me and the young guy are all talking about Italian heritage and it turns out all three of us are Italian. Soon after the lady left me, the young guy continued flirting with me.
Me: *puts everything in bag & hands it to young guy* And your receipt is in the bag!
Young Guy: Is there anything else in the bag?
Me: … an application for an Old Navy Card in case you change your mind?
YG: Oh … *takes bag, lingers, then leaves*
Me: *helps the next customer*
YG: *after a few minutes comes back* Hey I filled out my Old Navy Card application!
Me: Oh really? Yay!
YG: *hands me piece of paper* Call me for dinner sometime.
Me: *looks at paper which reveals guy’s name and phone number*
YG: *leaves*
Yeah, a guy gave me his number!! :D Aside from discovering that my bathing suit from last summer is too big for me, getting a guy’s number is probably one of the best feelings in the whole world, especially since the last time that happened it was from Joshua . For the rest of the day I was giddy, amused and confident. Joshua took it as a compliment and felt more better than ever that he was the one with the hot girlfriend, haw haw. It’s reassuring that Joshua is not the only one who finds me attractive.
So because of the extreme heat wave, I’ve been keeping Izzie indoors for the past few days, which has made her a very unhappy little kitty. While I wanted to continue keeping her inside, my dad made the mistake of letting her out on Tuesday morning causing her to disappear for the rest of the day. When I finally found her, which was around 10pm, she came to me with her back left leg limping and her collar missing. I’ve tried to look at her injured leg and it appears she has some kind of wound within her paw and it looks like part of her leg is bruised; I also discovered a scratch on her neck that reveals whatever scratched her took her collar with them. After work yesterday I went over to PetSmart and decided to get some things to spoil my miserable kitty. I got her a collar along with an ID tag and her very own water fountain. I also signed up for a PetPerks Card so I can get discounts there as well.
I made a stop at Ulta to get a few things and then the gas station for fuel + carwash. I then met up with Joshua & his buddies and we all went over to Mikuni Sushi to celebrate his friend’s birthday. We had a lot of fun and I even had a sip of beer. Oh yes, Cena being a bad girl!
After sushi, Joshua & I took off in my car and ended up grabbing food at McDonald’s since sushi was pretty expensive therefore I didn’t eat much. It was great, just me & Joshua sitting in his car eating McDonald’s … like old times except without the heinous uniforms.
Anyhoo that’s all the excitement in my life for now. Tuesday was my day of in which I moped around the house doing computery things and swimming, so naturally nothing worth speaking of. Then all of a sudden Wednesday got exciting. As for the rest of the week … who knows! I do know that I have a date with Captain Jack Sparrow on Saturday

Your poor kitty! Maybe she got into a fight? =[ But it’s cute that you get to spoil her with collars and things. My guinea pigs are different. You can’t put collars on them…

So anyways! Have a great week!
