The Friday Five ~
1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
My mom named me after the actress/model/author Cristina Ferrare.

2. Do you have your children’s names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
Saying that I marry Joshua, if I had a daughter her first name would be part of my mom’s middle name and my daughter’s middle name would be after Joshua’s mom (adopted, not biological). As for being a boy, I know his middle name would be Paul, after my grandpa. Don’t know what his first name would be yet.

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
I either would have been Anthony Paul Assenza, named after my dad and two grandpas.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I actually wouldn’t change my name if I could. In fact, the only way I’d do it is if I had to for witness protection program or something.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
Ohhhh yes! Because my name is spelled the Italian way (without an ‘h’) people CONSTANTLY put an ‘h’ in my name or they spell it with a ‘k’. Also my last name seems to confuse people to no end because it’s Italian heritage as well.

I took Izzie to the vet this morning and it appears her leg is fine and her injury is within her paw. Apparently something got her putting two holes on either side of her toe as though it were pinched. The area got infected so they’re going to sedate her and hose everything out. I have to keep her inside for a whole week (she’s gonna hate me for that) so I can continue giving her antibiotics. Also she’s got tapeworm so she is getting medication for that is well. My poor wittle kitty!

Aside from taking Izzie to vets (my parents are picking her up), the only thing I’ve got going on is work from 5:30-10pm (I get to close the drawers!) and afterwards Joshua is gonna come over so we can watch PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl before we see PotC: Dead Man’s Chest. I’m trying to see if I can get tomorrow off from work in order to go see my sis’s first performance at Sugarloaf, and if not then I’m working from 10:45am-6pm and after Joshua & I are going to the movies. Good times ahead!
