So I’m having so much fun at work. I really really like my job. I think this is the first time I have ever been able to say that. Saturday marked the beginning of “Old Navy’s Best Week Ever” celebration. Everyday there is a different theme and the employees get to dress up. Saturday was “Wacky Tacky”, Sunday was “Beach Day” and today is “Country Western” in which I am totally sporting my cowgirlish attire. Tuesday is “Sports Day”, Wednesday is “Hawaiian Day”, Thursday is “Old Navy Spirit Day”, Friday is “Bling Bling Day” and Saturday is “80’s Day”.
On Saturday I was at work from 9:45am-6:45pm. At the top of every hour I yelled into a bullhorn announcing to all the shoppers to find an associate carrying a blue bag of game cards, grab their game card, and come over to the kiosk (where I was stationed all day) to redeem their prize. For the most part, people were winning bags of Goldfish, Jelly Belly Jelly Bean, sticker packs, colored pencils, CDs, coupons for Baskin Robbins Ice Cream, and coupons for Old Navy. Course, it didn’t take long for people to get greedy and stick around for a few hours to win prizes by grabbing as many game cards as they could. Not to mention we had people whining about their prizes and asking to trade. *eyeroll*
After work I went over to Joshua’s house in which I had dinner with the whole family and got to meet Bobby’s girlfriend, Amber, who is such a sweetie. I mostly recieved attention from Tiffany and we all had a good time. Joshua & I soon left to go to my friend’s party but upon arriving I began to feel a bit uncomfortable. Besides, I was already tired from all the action going all day and decided to simply drop off my present and turn in for the night. Joshua & I came back to my house where we watched an episode of “Outback Jack” and then went to bed.
Sunday morning Joshua, my dad, and I piled into my wee lil car and headed off to pick my Nana up. Once we picked her up and proceeded to head to Fairfield to meet up with the rest of the family for lunch, there was major tension between my dad & Nana the whole way down. I guess while we were at her house my dad asked her if she was going to turn on her burglar alarm and my Nana said no because she was intimidated by it or something; Dad was like, “Well you make payments on it but you don’t use it…?” and apparently that made Nana feel all stupid so she was cranky the entire day. I get so sick of old people crankyness. Both my Nana and grandparents are always finding something to be cranky about and I get so tired of it. Ergh.
Lunch for the most part was pleasant. I spent the majority of it updating my grandmas on life. It went pretty well. After lunch, Joshua & I wandered around Arden Fair Mall a bit and then headed back to his house where he began to pull his transmission out. While hanging out, Bobby came by and he hung with us for a wee bit and eventually left so he could go be with his girlie-friend. At 6pm, I left Joshua’s for a cash-handler meeting at work. After the meeting Joshua & I went to both our banks and then had a snack at McDonald’s. Came back to his house where he did his laundry and his siblings did some magic tricks and then eventually I came home.
Today is good old Country Western Day and since I work 1:30-10:30pm I gotta go get dressed up! Yee-haw! ;)

I should start randomly dressing up for work and say that it’s Theme week and see what people do. That’d be fun.
Hi!
Hey! Thanks! I’ve added you now, and I’ll update later tonight.
