Fandom rambling and such.

I must say that after reading this I am a little more optimistic about how the film “Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix” will turn out. I’m probably not going to see it at midnight, but I will at least give it one viewing. The problem I am finding with the movies is they’re taking out things that most book fans would say are essential to the plot and replacing it with a lot of unnecessary Hollywood drama, like Harry falling out of the flying car in Chamber of Secrets or Harry being chased by the dragon outside of the pit in Goblet of Fire. The books are getting longer & longer which means the movies are having more to live up to, which I think should influence the screenplay writing. I just hope that things get better.

I woke up this morning feeling a lot better than I did yesterday. I guess all I really needed was some quality sleep. I went to bed around 10pm last night and woke up at 10am after Joshua’s mom called me in regards to some computer issues. I was still a little tired, but no exhausted like I’ve been feeling for the past few weeks. I think I need to work on going to bed the same time Joshua does so I get my needed amount of sleep instead of staying up till 1am.

Around 11:30am today, Fed-Ex brought me a package containing all my needed information for my Disneyland trip w/Joshua. In my package was a limited edition park map, which featured the current park map on one side and the original park map from 1955 on the other. I also got coupons for the park, our park tickets, hotel vouchers, luggage tags, and park calendar. I am SO SO EXCITED!! GAAAHH!! Disneyland makes my happy. ^_^

I’ve been spending my day of today doing random updates around the site. If you scroll down a bit you’ll see I put in a search bar which allows you to search for things within the blog entries. I also installed a plug-in which allows me to see what is being searched for. In addition to that, I finally put a link up (a drop down menu actually) to the archives so if you desire you can read past entries. Sadly it only goes back to March of 2006 because that is when I decided to be smart by using WordPress as my blog.

Anyhoo thats about it for now. Nothing too exciting to talk about since it’s my day off and I’m just being a bum around the house. That’s always fun though, right? ;)

I can’t wait for that movie, though I’m saddened to hear there will be no quidditch scenes.
