The Friday Five ~
1. Given a choice, and imagining that money and time were no object, would you rather cook dinner, eat out or order in?
I’d totally eat out just because I would go to fancy places that I’ve never been to before and order exotic expensive food. It’d be fun.
2. What is the most elaborate meal you’ve ever prepared yourself or purchased at a restaurant?
Um … I’ve never really prepared an elaborate meal except the time I tried to cook breakfast as the “Sadies Dinner” for Joshua. Tradition said the girl cooks for the guy and Joshua wanted breakfast food for dinner. As for purchasing at a restaurant, never really have purchased anything elaborate but going to La Dip Fondue was pretty upscale just for fondue.
3. What food do you find yourself making and/or eating way too much?
As my boss would say, snickly snacks! I eat way too many snacks, mainly because I just love to graze. Things like cheese string, crackers, the 100 Calorie snack packs, cereal, you name it. I also find myself buying frozen pizza and fast food way too much. It’s bad.
4. What was your most disastrous cooking/eating out experience?
My worst eating out experience was when my family took me out to dinner on my 18th birthday. It was suppose to be this nice restaurant that my parents went to a long while ago but when we came back this time it changed. It took us 45 minutes to get our food, the service was crap, and I ended up getting food poisoning. My worst cooking experience was attempting to make chocolate chip pancakes for Joshua for our “Sadies Dinner”. I was sick with the flu at the time so my attention was a little whacked.
5. Would you rather cook for someone else or have them cook for you?
Because I have food cooked for me all the time, I want to cook for someone. I really won’t get the chance to do that until I move in with Joshua though.

This past week has been rather nice but extremely busy. This should explain the lack of updates. Plus I just got in one of those funky moods where I just didn’t feel like writing much. I also had a ton of web projects I wanted to get done, both at my site and LJ and the music site, but it was just one of those weeks where I had no time. In fact Wednesday I had only 90 minutes of free-time on the computer but it was plenty to get what I wanted done so far.
In web site updates, I finally got my contact form working to it’s full potential. Now people can send me feedback or apply to trade patches for the QBee. As far as my QBee Quilt goes, the only thing I need to do now is put my activity pages back up.
I also decided to create an application form for affiliates since it seems that the only people that want to affiliate with me lately are little 13yo with crap-ass sites. I don’t know how these tweens find me, but they’re so flippin annoying. Their sites are all the same (like take their emo/retardedness from MySpace, add a crappy layout and you have their site) and they don’t give a dang about your site but rather they just want people to come to theirs. Ah well, now I’m in control. Mwah hah hah!
So just a little recap on life, last weekend I had work and spent the remainder of Saturday hanging out with Tiffany while Joshua worked on fixing his brother’s truck. Eventually Bobby came over with his girlfriend + sister and we all hung out into the evening. When Joshua was finally done for the night, he & I met up with Bobby & Amber and had a great time hanging out at Denny’s. Sunday was service, lunch, a field trip to Frys, and then Joshua dropped me off at work until 9pm. Throughout the week I’ve been doing the same old routine of going to to school and work.
Tonight and tomorrow morning into the day, Joshua & I are taking a seminar at church called “Before the Vows” which is basically a couples seminar that prepares you for commitment. It’s something that Joshua’s parents have encouraged us to do ever since they found out we are planning on moving in together. After going through a very yucky and painful divorce, his mom expressed to me she really wants to see us work and therefore says I should do as much counseling as possible to help us out. I’m actually glad we’re doing something like this because I want us to work and I think anything to help us out, especially since Joshua is leaving in two weeks, is a great thing.
Today before the seminar I get to go to my annual doctor’s appointment, which should be oh-so-exciting! So now I must go get ready for that.

I know! I had to make stricter rules too! I feel bad saying “No piczo sites” because some people hosted there do have decent content and layouts and stuff, but yes, the 13 year old kids whose sites consist of pages of Hello Kitty pics and nothing else bug me too.
Good luck to you and Joshua for your course, it sounds like a good idea, hope it goes well
