One week and counting …

Yesterday began the countdown. In one week, Joshua is leaving for Rancho Cucamonga to begin his Mercedes Elite Training for 4 months. When he comes back towards the end of February 2007 he’ll be working at a Mercedes Dealership (hopefully the one on El Dorado Hills which is closest to me) and then June of 2007 we’ll be getting a place together. It’s bittersweet that he’s going to be so far away for 4 months, but at the same time it’s exciting because after this we can actually start really living life together.

This past weekend was our last weekend to spend some quality time together. Even though I technically have one more weekend with him, it’s going to be pretty busy. I work all day Saturday from 8:30am-5:30pm and then have to race up the hill for his graduation party Saturday. And most likely Sunday they’re going to have me working a long shift too. It’s good that I’m being kept busy so that way I won’t have time to sit down and focus on how much I’m going to miss Joshua. Plus now that I have officially reconciled with Becca after 4+ months of fighting, perhaps I’ll get to spend some time with her.

I have good news!! I got my jacket! My mom met me at work on Saturday and she got my jacket for me which she is gonna let me have for Christmas! I so so excited! It’s the most beautiful jacket ever. I tried it on and it feels perfect. It’s going to be my first dry-clean only piece of clothing, tee hee. I happy!

I got all kinds of things done yesterday on the site. A new layout is up and I did a ton of updating on my Qbee page. I put all the activity pages up and am already participating in this year’s Trick-or-Treat event. I am also very honored that I got to receive the Random Bee-ut award!

Anyhoo, that’s about it on updates and such for now. I should probably get to bed since I have kickboxing in like 7 hours.
