The Friday Five ~
1. What was the last thing that you ate?
Scrambled eggs with ketchup. Yummers!

2. Who was the last person you shared a meal with?
Um, probably my family. I don’t eat a whole dinner with anyone except Joshua, his family, and my family.

3. What is your favorite all time dish (recipes welcome)?
Nothing beats a good warm pot of chili with sour cream & cheddar cheese on top with a piece of cornbread + honey butter on the side. That’s the way to my heart! ;)

4. If you could eat one thing for an entire year, what would it be?
Lean Cuisine frozen dinners, hahaha! And you thought I was going to restrict myself!

5. If you could have dinner with any five people (dead or alive) who would they be?
I’d have dinner with Jesus, JK Rowling, George Lucas, JRR Tolkien, and John Williams. It’d be kickass.

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamt that for some reason I went to Raley’s and asked if I could have a job for some holiday hours. For some reason me & the manager had this vibe as if I had previously worked there and I was asking for my job back. Mind you, I was still working at Old Navy. He wrote my name down on the calendar on November 28th to start scheduling me, and I realized that taking a second job was a big mistake, especially since I had no idea how to plan out my availability. The manager sent me over to another table to fill out paperwork, and the last thing I remember was me sneaking over trying to find the managers calendar to erase my name. Weird!

Yesterday I was a bad girl and ditched kickboxing, mainly due to the fact I went to bed at 2am, but it was a very nice treat because I slept in till 10:30am. By getting this much sleep I was such a pleasant person at work that I managed to get two ONCs, which made all the managers very happy. At the beginning of my shift I got to go over to Michael’s with another coworker where he & I got the needed supplies for our “Pluck the Turkey” ONC Contest we’re having next month. Basically anytime someone gets an ONC next month, they get to pluck a feather from the turkey I am making, and they get to grab a ‘gobble snack’ from the ‘gobble bag’. I’m making the turkey out of Styrofoam, so it shall be one interesting piece of artwork. I’m totally going to take pictures when it’s done.

I guess when I got hired I gave off this allure like I am a big party planner, entertainer, and graphics type person. Because of this, I’ve gotten to do things like being the “Best Crowd Pleaser Ever” back when we had our “Best Week Ever” and now I’m being put in charge of Halloween & Christmas festivities. I’m putting together a Halloween Potluck, but its success will be based on how many associates actually care to participate. I was led to believe I’d have a quite a budget to get decorations for the store but that was cut because of costs for next month’s contest. However, the potluck is still on so we shall see how that goes.

Anyways, I have a few busy days ahead of me. I work today 1-10pm and then 8am-5pm tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well! Happy Friday!
