The Friday Five ~
1. What are you most thankful for?
I am thankful for my family, especially my mom and grandparents. I am so grateful for their support in Joshua & I wanting to move into together and them just helping Joshua out in general. The kindness they show towards him is remarkable.
2. Think back one year, have the things you are thankful for changed?
Not really. If anything I am grateful more things than others. Still grateful for my boyfriend, family, friends, Harry Potter, etc. One new thing I am grateful for is my job at Old Navy. Can’t tell you enough how much I love my job!
3. What did you feast on yesterday?
On Thursday (aka three days ago - yes I’m late, I know) I ate the usual turkey, cranberry sauce, bean caserole, etc. Twas very yummy considering I had two Thanksgiving dinners.
4. This time of year is filled with parties, gifts, friends, and family, what are you looking forward to the most?
I’m looking forward to the day after Christmas when I fly down to Southern California to spend the week till New Years with Joshua.
5. Christmas is coming up, what if anything do you want for it?
One thing I REALLY want is the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Complete Recordings. I have a feeling my mommy is going to get that for me since she got me Fellowship for my birthday. Other things I really want are giftcards to places such as Sephora, Ulta, BBW, IKEA, and of course, iTunes Music Cards. I love to go shopping hence why I love to get giftcards. And I guess it would be nice to get some things off my Wishlist as well, especially the Sex & the City Collectors Edition.

MAN, I tell you all the bitchy customers came out to shop yesterday. I don’t know if it had to do with the fact that as of yesterday it’s exactly one month till Christmas or what but whoa! People got all uptight about the stupidest things, everything from stuffing clothes into one bag to making sure they had the receipt. However I did get some good customers through my line, one being my old hairdresser who gave me her card telling me to call her if my sis & I want to schedule an appointment with her. I also ended my shift with 4 ONCs! Today I will get to find out whose team is the winner of the November ONC contest.
Well, I’m getting one of my Christmas presents early this year. For awhile I have been saving up money for a laptop because I’m going to be moving out soon, and I plan on giving my sister my computer when I leave. Plus I can’t tell you how convenient it would be to have one, especially when I have these 8hr shifts at work. I put on my Christmas list that I am saving up for one and that anyone is welcome to donate money towards my cause.
At Thanksgiving my grandparents wrote me a check for the total cost of my laptop so after doing a lot of researching, I’ve decided upon a Dell Inspiron e1405. I just put the order in today and I should get it within the next week or so! I’m excited!!
Along with them giving me my present, they also told us that if Joshua gets a job at the dealership near their house (San Rafael), they would let us move into the duplex that they own & rent out in Larkspur. It’s a two bedroom place with a garage (something Joshua desperately wants) and a garden area so Izzie could roam around and I wouldn’t have to worry about her getting hurt. Also the place is right next door to the junior college, only 30-45 minutes away from Sonoma State, and 20 minutes away from an Old Navy. Plus I’d be close to my grandparents, and I think my mom would feel better about that knowing I could come over and help them out. I also like it that I’d be in an area I am familiar with and essentially feel at home in. However, I won’t know anything for sure until Joshua gets hired in January.
Anyhoos, I get to go to work from 3-10pm, which is not so bad. Then tomorrow starts another week of school. Bleh. At least from here on out I only have 3 weeks left and then I am free for awhile. W00t!

Your new laptop looks very cool and spiffy! My dad just got a Dell computer for his office, it’s amazing.
Yes. I think some (stupid people) should just stay at home and never go shopping, especially when they walk around the mall extremely slowly and you can’t get past them! :P
