1. Where were you when 2006 began?
I rang in the New Year with Joshua & Rebecca. We went shopping that day so my sister could spend her giftcard at Club Libby Lu. We brought pizza home from Pizza Hut and watched the South Park marathon on Comedy Central, ending with the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut. Five minutes till midnight, we tuned in to NBC and watched the ball drop into the New Year. I got my first New Year’s kiss ever and it was awesome!
2. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before?
I had a temporary roomate, I saw gay man-sex, I had my very first shot of whiskey because of seeing gay man-sex, and I flew on a plane all by myself, haha.
3. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Kinda sorta. For the most part I kept them, some others I altered. Instead of moving out with Rebecca, she moved out into a place a few minutes away from me. I felt I did lessen fights with Joshua even though it became increasingly difficult to do so because of him moving away. I did save up money and instead of maintaining my job, I got a better one with a MUCH better pay!
4. Go to any concerts this year?
Not this year, but I know next year I will be hitting it up with my man Josh Groban!
5. Will you be looking for a new job in 2007?
Not necessarily … I’m moving between February & March so I am looking to transfer to a GAP in the area I will be living in.

Haha, no all I had was two shots of Jack Daniels after watching my two of my favorite straight men give it to each other up the butt in Brokeback Mountain.

On Labor Day weekend I took my first real vacation with Joshua in which we spent a few days at Disneyland. Then the day after Christmas I flew down to LA where I spent the remainder of the year with Joshua.

Making it through! It was a tough year but I am thankful I got through it all!
9. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2006 and change something, what would it be?
I’d probably change the way things went down between Rebecca & I when we got into our big fight. I’m sad that it has altered our friendship.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than the typical cold. However the symptoms that went along with it were pretty harsh, like the ear infection and pink eye.

My wonderful laptop Elphie. I am so so happy that I FINALLY got a laptop after how many years of wanting one. It is so flippin convenient!

It’s a tie between my mom and my grandparents. They have been the most supportive with Joshua & I. I am so grateful for their help and support!
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Various people, particularly those who ended friendships with me. Don’t want to mention any names.

HAHA clothes. Working at a clothing store can be bad for you. Especially if you like to shop.

Going to Disneyland with Joshua on Labor Day weekend. It was our first real vacation together plus our first time going to Disneyland together. It was really special!
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
I think the song “Bad Day” by Daniel Powter is one because of how many times I heard it on American Idol.

Happier than ever because I am beginning the next chapter of my life! So excited!

The day after I flew down to Southern California and spent the rest of the year with Joshua.

Probably figuring out what it is I want to do in college. That and I think I grew up a lot.

You know what’s sad? Now that I think back on it I have had no time to read any books for recreational purposes! Thanks a lot college! Grrr …
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Haha the music at Old Navy. I don’t listen to the radio anymore because it overplays & kills good songs, so any new music that I discovered was thanks to Old Navy CDs, haha,
28. What did you want and get?
I’ve wanted a laptop for God knows how long and I FINALLY got one!
29. What did you want and not get?
I really wanted the Two Towers Complete Recordings and for some reason my mom said they were out of stock on Amazon.com; however I got a $25 Borders giftcard so I just used that to order it online. Other than that, I got everything I truly wanted.
30. What was your favourite film of this year?
I’d have to say it’s a tie between Dead Man’s Chest and Casino Royale. They were the only two movies I saw twice and I loved them both!
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
On my 19th birthday I got presents from the family, went to school, went shopping, and then went out to dinner at Macaroni Grill. Because my birthday was on a Monday, my big celebration happened over the weekend where Rebecca & Joshua took me to Brookefields for dinner (got to see a gay waiter hit on Joshua), and then Anna & Kyle met up with us at Golfland Sunplash where we went on go-carts. We all came back to my house and had ice-cream cake! My B-Day was bomb!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I wish I Becca & I didn’t get into that 4 month long fight that we did. But everything happens for a reason and as a result she lives two minutes away from me and it has brought us to a more mature stage in our friendship.

To move out of my childhood home and in with Joshua while he works at Mercedes and to continue going to school.

Hahaha! A gay waiter hitting on Joshua! That would be hysterical! What did he do? :P
