Okay, officially way too tired to get this layout 100% done tonight. Going to bed and continuing on it tomorrow. Zzzz... 8 hrs ago
A new life for me and I’m feeling good!

Happy New Year everyone! I know I’m only what, a few days late, but oh well. Besides, I figured my survey on 2006 was enough to entertain the very few readers I have here anyway.

I rang in the New Year at Joshua’s apartment in which we spent the entire day (after he took me to Ulta and got junk food at Target) watching the SVU marathon on the USA channel because we’re sick twisted freaks like that. He had to go to work from 6-10pm so I continued watching the marathon while doing God knows what on the computer. Two minutes before the ball dropped we tuned into NBC, gave each other our midnight kiss and went to bed shortly after. Twas nice.

New Year’s Day we packed up my stuff and spent our timing wandering around Hollywood until I had to go to the airport. We decided to check out the Hollywood Wax Museum and Guinness World of Records Museum. Both places were really neat, but I enjoyed the wax museum the most. Since we parked at the Hollywood & Highland Center (where the Kodak Theatre is) I got to have the most wonderful shopping experience in their multi-level mall. And, I got to go to the “Frederick’s of Hollywood” in Hollywood, which sounds cheesy when I put it that way but I got a kick out of it!

Around 5pm Joshua & I said our goodbyes as he dropped me off at LAX. Although my flight was technically delayed by 8 minutes, it took FOREVER for us to board and finally take off. I flew into SMF around 8pm where I was greeted by Dad, Mom, and Danielle. Next time I fly down, which will be on February 8th (the day after my birthday), I’m flying one way to ONT which is only 10 minutes away from Joshua’s place.

Yesterday I spent my entire day lounging about in my PJs going on the computer. Later in the evening my mom & I went through everything in the kitchen and dining room that I could take with me when I move out. She also gave me a ton of towels, washcloths, and bedding to take with me as well. Needless to say by the time I move out, there isn’t going to be much I will need to shop for.

My grandparents called me to let me know they gave the lady her two months notice. Sounded like my grandma was glad to be rid of the tenant because she has been nothing but trouble. Now it’s all a matter of when that lady is finally moved out. I just hope she doesn’t leave a bunch of crap behind like the tenant before her did.

Anyhoo, I’ve got a lot to accomplish between now and the time I move out. Things are going to get busy! Yay!

Heheh, the photos of the wax museum are a little creepy, especially Forrest Gump, but they’re cool too :P I think I’d be disturbed if I ever became famous and went there to be greeted by a wax model of myself!
