The Friday Five ~
1. Favorite cereal and why?
Honey Bunches of Oats. Why? Cause I like honey! And I like bunches of oats. And when the two come together, I could blow a honey oat-yish load. *ends Dane Cook impression*

2. What is the best thing about summer?
Wearing flip-flops, the days being longer and going to the beach. Plus there are a lot of good smells that come with the summer air.

3. Would you rather have a slurpee or a milkshake?
A chocolate milkshake please. With french fries to dip them in.

4. If you could be a member of any band/musical group, past or present, what band would it be and why?
Um, I’d be part of the Spice Girls because they are full of awesome girl power like whoa. I’d be nerdy spice, mwah hah!

5. Who is your idol? What are they famous for?
Walt Disney is my hero because he made the happiest place on earth.

I guess you know you’re in college when your textbook costs more than the class itself. I went to buy my math book today for my online math class and it cost me $127 for the book. Yet, the class itself only cost $100 because of it being a 5 unit class at $20/unit. Yeesh. Friggin school. Haven’t even started and can’t wait till it’s over. At least my teacher is cool.

After spending 2/3 days off indoors, I decided to clean myself up and do a wee bit of shopping. I stopped by work to grab my schedule for next week and bought a plain long-sleeve white t-shirt for $3 thanks to it being clearanced + my employee discount. W00t!

I then went over to Ulta because I had quite a bit of store credit to use there. Between my rewards points discount and my store credit, I ended up getting that $50 foot spa you see there for only $12! What a deal! And since I had $15 of store credit at Target, I bought everything else you see in that picture plus some Valentine’s Day cards which are not shown. I mainly went to Target to get stuff for moving out and settled on getting cleaning products because everything else that I was remotely interested in getting I knew I could get it elsewhere for cheaper. Cute cleaning products seemed like a great deal. Plus, the Star Wars poster for $7? Totally going in the office room! :arr:

Anyhoo, that’s it for now. Back to work tomorrow at 8am till 2pm. Boooo.

Oh my gosh! My whole comment cut off…hmm…very strange, oh well, maybe because I tried to do backwards arrows pointing towards Pirate Spice the other way?
Yeah well it’s SUPPOSED to be summer here now, but it’s been raining quite a lot so it doesn’t feel much like it!
Strangely enough, I actually know quite a few people who dip fries in chocolate milkshakes! That’s awfully strange…I think I might have to try it! :D
I know! My books for uni are ridiculously expensive too! Luckily we have a second hand book sale at the beginning of every year where you can resell them once you’re finished with them so you get a little bit of money back, but still, it gets pretty expensive when you take lots of classes!
Oh! I just realised I don’t think I ever asked you this! What are you doing at uni, what’s your major? It sounds mathsy, urgh, lol! I’m doing a B.A. (generic arts degree) majoring in Sociology, it’s so weird coz it’s my second year, which means I’m already a third of the way through! It feels like I’ve only just started! :O

No, you know you’re in real college when the books cost $100 a piece, you need 5 per class, and it’s STILL cheap compared to tuition. Oh, the days of cheap JCing…
