Okay, officially way too tired to get this layout 100% done tonight. Going to bed and continuing on it tomorrow. Zzzz... 9 hrs ago
Arghness monster.

Maybe it’s my new layout or maybe it’s WP version 6, but either way my coding has been very weird on me. In addition to the previous post, it’s almost like whenever I make a certain adjustment in coding (such as adding two new affiliates) it’s like, “Sorry not going to show up.” The only thing that seems to work is if I make an adjustment, then switch to a different theme and back to my current does everything work. Is anyone savvy enough to know that maybe it has to do with WP-Cache? I don’t have that plug-in activated. Should I? :s

Today has been a rather frustrating day so far. To start with, I was up at 7am so I could make it to my 8:30am orthodontist appointment, which I have once a month. Now, I’ve been seeing this orthodontist for two years now, so you can imagine how pissed off I am when I arrive on time and am forced to wait for almost two hours because someone forgot to write my appointment in. At the end of each visit I make an appointment for the following month, and not only do I watch the lady write it down but she gives me a card with my appointment date/time on it. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed when they told me I’d have to wait around so they could ’squeeze me in’ due to them being backed up. I drive 30 minutes out of my way using a lot of fuel because of the hills I drive on so it’s asking a lot to go down there. Not to mention it’s $155 each visit. Usually I am pretty understanding about situations like these but come on! I pretty much have to set aside a few hours for this monthly visit when the examination itself takes roughly 5-10 minutes. So, I was very annoyed.

Then I come home to make a payment on my credit and find out I can’t because of an error with my bank accounts. I closed my bank account last Monday because of me moving and opened one with Washington Mutual. When I went to make my credit card payment last Wednesday I accidentally forgot to hit the drop-down menu to select my new bank and instead submitted my payment to be coming from my closed account. Upon realizing this error I called up the card company to explain my situation and the only thing they could tell me was to talk to my bank because the payment went through just fine. Last night I got two emails from my card company saying the payment couldn’t go through (yeah no shit), which meant I still owed them a payment for the month. But as I stated before, I wasn’t able to make a payment due to the web site freaking out about my returned payment/closed bank account.

I called up my card company and talked to customer service about making my payment. He allowed me to make my payment with no problem. Then just as I am about to get off the phone he tries to sell me a card protection program which I made very clear I wasn’t interested in. Still, he kept pushing it on me regardless of he fact that I told him I knew what it was about (everyone I talk to through customer service tries to get me to sign up) and I didn’t want it. I probably said no about 5 or 6 times till he finally left me alone and let me hang up. :grr:

You know, I like to consider myself a good sales-person because I am good at getting people to sign up for the Old Navy Card, but at the same time I know how to take no for an answer. I respect my customer’s decision either way unless they’re flat out rude about it. But the people who won’t take no for an answer? GOOD GRIEF! Part of your job as a customer service representative is making sure your customer is happy. You don’t want them to leave feeling like they were pressured into something or being irritated. Yes I understand that certain jobs require you to sell a key item or two but not at the expense of good customer service. Some people need to get a clue and get more training.

I’m hoping the rest of my day goes a lot better than this morning/afternoon. There were some perks with today such as being able to still get a breakfast sandwich at McDonald’s even though I came in at 10:35am. I also went to the nearby Staples and ended up getting a very snazzy laptop/messenger bag.

I still have a few more errands to run but I am going to be doing those later in the day. I’ve decided to get my mom a brand spanking new sewing box for her birthday since she cried the other day when he current broke causing everything to fall on the floor. I felt really bad for her since it broke on her twice just after she picked everything up, so I hope a newer and stronger one will make her happy. I have my orientation for my Math class to go to as well but that’s not until 6:30pm.

Welp that’s about it for now. Ciao!

Oh boy, i would be plenty pissed as well. Especially since you’ve been a “customer” there for 2 years! You deserve a little more respect then that. I could understand if making that appointment was a first time deal, but if you’re making it every month.. geeze.

That is such an amazing bag. The first picture makes it look all plain, but then BAM colour :D

And aww i feel bad for your mom, that would have made me cry as well. Hope she likes the new one!

Man! I’d be annoyed if I had to wait that long too! :S Especially, like Carolynne already said, because you’ve been going there for a couple of years!
Wow, that is a very snazzy laptop bag! I love the pink inside, and all the little pockets and compartments! My laptop bag is very unexciting, but my laptop doesn’t care coz it hardly ever goes anywhere anyway! :P
