So happy together!

Sorry it has been awhile. Since last Thursday I have done nothing but spent ever single day with Joshua. It has been a wonderful treat compared to the past few months where I’d get to see him once a month. Now everything is done with and I will never have to worry about being apart from him for so long ever again! What a relief!

On Thursday afternoon, I flew down to Ontario. My flight was the longest one I have ever experienced. The one time I fly where I actually have to use the bathroom, the captain decides to keep the seatbelt sign on the entire time. My bladder hurt so bad by the time I got off the plane. Thank goodness I got a seat up front otherwise I would have not been as nice to people. Ugh.

I got to experience college dorm life all in one night. All 5 of Joshua’s roomates had a huge party in the apartment where roughly 30 people joined in to get drunk, knock the bars out of the fence, play loud music, and just flat out prevent a sick me from getting any sleep. It was one of the worst experiences ever!

Because of that craziness, Joshua and I decided to leave Friday evening instead of spending another night there. We went to his graduation ceremony, ate free food, went hot tubbing back at the apartments (SO NICE, especially since I was still sick), went out to dinner with friends, and at 9pm we packed up and left Rancho Cucamonga behind forever. We made a few stops along the way, mainly for Joshua to take a catnap (I was already sleeping the whole time) and we came into the Bay Area around 10am Saturday morning.

My grandpa was nice enough to arrange a visit for us to our duplex where we could actually take a look at the inside of the place. The tenant gave us some pretty good news telling us that not only would she be most likely moving out a few days early, but she would be leaving some things behind for us such as a washer & dryer and an old fashioned spice rack.

Overall, the duplex is awesome! The only thing that’s somewhat of a downside is that there is SO MUCH home improvement to be done. I have to repaint every single inch of that place because this lady does not know how to paint nor does she have any ounce of proper design within her. She painted the kitchen cupboards a bright aqua green (same with the hallway), the bathroom salmon pink, and the master bedroom crimson red. Yeah, gross! Also, flooring has to be replaced, since the cement on our back patio has to be leveled out since it’s flooding right now. We have to get a new stove and a new water heater. Luckily grandparents will reimburse us for everything, it’s just going to be a lot of work. This is why Home Depot and IKEA is our best friends!

I have the rest of the week until the 19th to spend with Joshua since he starts his first day at Mercedes on the 20th. The 23rd is my last day at Old Navy and then I plan on moving all my stuff down that weekend. I can’t wait!

Good grief! The people at that party sound horrendous! I hope there wasn’t too much damage to the room! That’s why I don’t go to parties where I know there’s going to be potential for disaster, they never end well. Lol!
Redecorating the duplex could be a fun project, salmon pink sounds..interesting! Actually my bathroom is kind of that colour, though more peachy, lol. Those colours could look awesome in small amounts, but whole rooms in bright green would not be eyeball friendly!
Ooh, I have my laptop now! Well, my dad has it. Apparently all the files are there, but some programs might be messed up but that’s ok, I can deal with that! Tomorrow or after work today I’m so going to go and buy a giant box of disks! :D
