Saturday, Joshua & I moved 98% of everything in around 9:30pm in the rain. At one point our power went out for about 10 minutes, but luckily it came back on so we could finish bringing everything into the house. Not the greatest experience ever but we still got to spend the night in our place. Sunday we moved more things, mainly stuff from my grandparents like chairs and a couch, and then we headed back up to P’ville to get my cats. Came back down to my place around 10pm and spent a few hours trying to help the cats familiarize themselves. I don’t think I’ve explained this yet, but in addition to Izzie, I adopted Becca’s kitty named Bella because Becca’s situation isn’t allowing her to take care of her.
The past few days I’ve spent my time unpacking and organizing things. It’s been difficult because the entire interior needs to be fixed in one way or another. All the walls need to be cleaned and painted, and all the floors need to be replaced. This previous tenant did not make any effort to keep this place clean so naturally I have a lot to do. Luckily, I’ve gotten a new water heater and a new stove this week thanks to my grandpa, but there is still so much to do. We don’t haven enough money to afford any furniture, so sleeping on an air mattress has been pretty tough. I think once Joshua gets a few more paychecks we’ll be able to afford our bed.
I had my interview at the Old Navy, and I start the first week of April. They seem really excited to have me, and I can’t wait to start working there. Found out that is particular Old Navy is an original establishment and has been around since 1994. It’s a lot smaller than my old store, but I think I am going to have a lot of fun there.
I got tagged by Holly and for once it’s a meme I would love to do. According to the meme, I have to explain where my site name came from. It’s really nothing special. I decided on Darth Cena because the Darth part is a la Star Wars (my first fandom of over 10 years) and Cena is my nickname. Dot com was bleh, and dot net sounded cool so there you go! :P
Anyhoo, I get Internet installed on Friday so hopefully I will be back to updating more.

Sounds like you and Joshua had a fun time moving in, lol! I can’t imagine having to move everything from my bedroom, let alone from my entire house! I’m dreading going flatting in a next couple of years, I think it could be a nightmare!
