The great national nightmare/American dream is over. Sanjaya Malakar is gone.
American Idol voters Wednesday dumped the 17-year-old from Federal Way, Wash., whose surprising longevity had become a topic of national debate.
Despite frequent criticism of his vocal skills from Idol judges, music critics and many fans, Sanjaya survived until the final seven, supported many believe by legions of girls and teens drawn to his youthful charm, engaging smile and showstopping hairstyles.
Sanjaya’s performance Tuesday was so bad that even his supporters couldn’t extend his stay, according to USA TODAY’s Idol coaches. - USA Today
Words cannot express how happy I am to finally see him go! The only time he was ever good was during his audition and that was it. Better singers have gone before him but now NO MORE! I can now enjoy Idol.

Yippie!

Oh my friggin God, what the *bleep* is going on with that guy’s hair? It looks so bad. I don’t watch American Idol, but if you are happy that he is gone, so am I! Ick, he’s gross. :D
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! :D
