Instead, while everyone else was out enjoying their Friday evening, I was hard at work pulling up floor and painting base boarding + trim in preparation for today’s carpet installation. Even now, Joshua is still busy fixing the floor as the floor in the master bedroom closet is the worst in the entire house. Allow me to show you how much rotting wood was in the floor…
Joshua made me take that picture mainly so I could show my grandparents. I was so close to calling them and making them to come over just to see the extent of the damage.
Anyhoo, I need to go help Joshua clean up the house before the carpet guys get here.

Gees, that sucks. Power to you two for putting so much work into that house. I look forward to hearing when that house warming party is going to be.
