Okay, officially way too tired to get this layout 100% done tonight. Going to bed and continuing on it tomorrow. Zzzz... 6 hrs ago
Stress. It’s a killer, sir.

I almost got kicked out of my place today over tiles. yes rly It’s a LONG story, one I really don’t feel like retelling, but basically I give up as far as dealing with the tiles. When I have enough money saved to get rid of the tiling altogether that’s when I’ll touch them. The wall is painted and we’re getting a new sink so life will be good for now. Plus I have other little things to do around the house and a party to prepare for next month. So yeah, screw the tiles. eff u

I think I need to try that new Johnson’s Melt Away the Stress Lotion. This business with the house and dealing with my grandparents is stressing me out big time. I’ve gained 10 pounds since I’ve been living here, and my acne is starting to flare up again just when I thought I had it under control. stressed

I had a rather interesting weekend of in the ville of P and yet I couldn’t be happier (that’s whyyyyy I couldn’t be happier, true dear…) to be back home. My dad said to me he misses having me around, which I couldn’t understand why because I was barely home while living there, and when I was home people would find stupid things to get mad at me over; it was a lot on unnecessary stress. Dealing with the stress of my house is enough as it is, and I don’t need extra family drama as well.

Saturday was the best day out of the whole weekend. After hanging out with Becca, I met up with two of my buddies from Sugarloaf, Maxine & Erin. We had lunch at In ‘n Out and saw Shrek the Third. It was such a cute movie! Somehow we got to talking about IKEA so we ended up making a trip to IKEA as well as stopping at the mall. It was definitely a fun day and I managed not to come home with buyer’s remorse!

Sunday was a little stressful due to my sister’s studio show. While I did want to see it, I wanted to already be home because of me supposedly having to working 9am Monday morning. I ended up coming home around 9pm thanks to the studio show dragging out and me having to be in charge of taking my Nana home, something my dad could have done but chose not to for whatever lame reason. I wasn’t too thrilled with him, mainly because of that but also because he was a bit disrespectful during the show. He was bored out of his mind and was constantly getting up to leave. At one point he took off to do grocery shopping. I was rather embarassed, hense why I am so glad I don’t live there anymore.

When Joshua picked up my work schedule for me, it said that my shift was 9pm-6am on Monday what!?. I thought this was a typo because normally I work a 9am shift on Mondays so I showed up at 9am on Monday. The two managers there were trying to figure out why that typo happened with my schedule and it wasn’t until my manager that’s in charge of the schedules called did I find it was no mistake. I was scheduled for an overnight shift with my GM (General Manager). I got sent home for the day and came back at 9pm where I helped paint the office and clean out the stock room until 4:30am while these guys did computer wiring and software installations around the store. I ended up crawling into bed around 5am and snuggled with Joshua until he had to get up at 5:30am for work. I slept all day until Joshua woke me up at 12:30pm on his lunch break. Needless to say it has been a bitch trying to get back into my normal sleeping pattern.

On a happier note, Joshua & I are going to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End tomorrow at 8:30pm. I think it’s great that Disney decided to move the release 4 hours earlier. Now we don’t have to wait until next week or God knows when to see the movie. Plus it’ll be a nice treat for the both of us to take a break from all this home improvement and just enjoy something.

Tonight we find out who the next American Idol will be. I am totally rooting for Blake!

I have to give up watching American Idol tonight for the Lost Season Finale…it was a difficult decision! I think Blake might get it…because he is a great performer, although I think Jordin has a better voice. But Blake is more fun to watch…so who knows, I was surprised when Melinda when home! :O

Aww sorry you’re so stressed, that’s not fun. :( Eat chocolate!!!! :D And light yummy candles when you’re doing things around the house. I thought I didn’t like vanilla or cookie scents for candles but I’ve discovered that they really comfort me and make me feel relaxed.

YAY FOR PIRATES!!! YARRRRR!!!

I totally feel you on the overnight shift thing. Ever since I got promoted, for one, I work the closing shifts until midnight five days a week now (and actually, since I picked up an extra day, I happened to end up working 8 days IN A ROW because the stupid schedules ran together…I’m not off till this Thursday).

Then, my manager was telling us about how they need to have the floors buffed and waxed which is HOURS long of a process, and when they’re doing the floors someone needs to be in the store (overnight) so they don’t steal or something. She was complaining about how she didn’t wanna be there, and I asked her what would be expected of the employee who did stay…like if it was just watching movies I would be TOTALLY game. But she said that whoever stays would have a BIG project to do like clean out the entire office…so I said screw that! LoL
