I was back in my hometown again Wednesday and into Thursday because once a month I visit a special orthodontist who has been trying to correct my jaw problem that has been present since I had my braces removed. When I had braces, one of the things they did is pulled my upper jaw forward giving me a slight overbite. Once the braces came off my upper jaw said, “No way!” so it decided to move back to the way it was pre-braces thus causing my jaw to lock open. This was an extremely painful experience and it go so bad once that I was forced to miss opening day of Return of the King and had to have my chiropractor push down inside my mouth to unlock it. I hope no one ever has to experience the fear and pain of having ones jaw locked open.

I didn’t have to go to the orthodontist until Thursday so I was able to spend the majority of Wednesday shopping with my mom. And by shopping I don’t mean going-to-the-mall-girlie-shopping, I mean $100 worth of grocery shopping at Food 4 Less and household shopping at K-Mart. Among the various household items I got, Mom treated me to my very own vacuumn! It’s the Bissell Momentum and it is so kickass! In fact, I personally think it cleans better than my mom’s Dyson and it was $400 cheaper! Woo! Needless to say that when I came home yesterday I went cleaning happy!
While I was gone, Joshua went to IKEA (no surprises there, haha) and got 3 of these nifty mesh bins which allows us more storage in our closet. We’re gonna get one more so I can put sewing things in there, but the 3 we have organizing are clothes are wonderful! All we need to do is get some shoe racks and a mirror and our closet will be complete!
I would like to end this entry by saying congratulations to my sister on graduating the 8th grade. The petty middle school drama is over and now you get to move on to bigger, better things. I love you girl! ![]()

Wow….your jaw was locked open…that sounds horrible! I’m sorry that had to happen to you. When I had my braces, they widened my top jaw in the process and once my braces were off for awhile, it started moving back again too. Bah! Of course, I’m definitely not going to complain after hearing your story!
So you really think your vacuum is better then Mom’s huh? :P
Well thank you very much for my congratulatory statement, I am so done with that school. I do hope during the summer I come down a lot more, I love being with you at your place, not to mention high-speed internet and the kitties!
Oh owch that sounds painful.
I hope that it gets officially fixed soon, that can’t be fun at all.
YAY FOR SHOPPING! :D Hehe, woot for IKEA, I really need to keep that place in mind when Chaz and I get a real place together in the future. :D
Congrats to your sister! WOOT! :D
