A little optimistic despite the drugs.

I feel a little better about things now. I went into work today to pick up my schedule and upon showing them how my poison oak is practically gone, I told them to call me if they need me to come in for any more shifts. Hopefully I’ll get more than my 11.5 hours I am currently scheduled with.

I’ve been a bit blah lately thanks to the meds I’ve been put on for the poison oak. I’ve had sleeping troubles all week and this morning into the afternoon I’ve felt really run down even though I haven’t done anything. Joshua and I went on a nice walk on the bike path that runs by our house and we ended up finding where the poison oak is. Surprisingly it’s really far down from our house so it explains why I’ve only gotten it twice as opposed to all the time. Unfortunately it’s on county property so nothing I can really do. I could be a sneaky one and go down there with a bottle of Round-Up or something, haw haw.

The more I think about it, the happier I am about canceling the party because there is still so much to be done around the house. I want to be able to present a nice place to my guests when they come over, not a half-ass job. And perhaps Louie is right. Maybe it’s asking too much to have people from out of town come down what with gas and jobs and all. When the time is right a party will happen. I just hope that it can happen.

Hey it’ll happen. I want to go down to see your house, so i figure if we go to Oakland to see someone at Yoshi’s Jazz Club, we’ll go there. Or perhaps if we can find an open weekend.

Teehee @ the thought of you taking to the poison oak with weed killer! If you’re going to do it, do it at night…nobody will ever spot you then!
That’s good you’re feeling better though, being sick and/or itchy sucks!
