The Friday Five ~
1. If you were going to remake a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
This is a toughie because as most know, I hate the Harry Potter movies thus I would redo them the right way. However, my favorite book before Harry Potter was Ella Enchanted and the movie they made was the crappiest movie I had ever seen in my life. Needless to say I would redo that movie and feature it the way it deserves. The only members of the cast I would keep is Hugh Dancy as Prince Charmont because he is very sexy, Joanna Lumley as Dame Olga (Aunt Spiker in James & the Giant Peach … enough said), and Lucy Punch as Hattie (Sally Peep in The 10th Kingdom).
2. If you could turn a book into a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
I can’t tell you because I’d jinx it. The last time I said what book I wanted made into a movie, it happened and it was the crappiest movie ever. See question #1.
3. If you were going to turn a video game into a movie, what would it be? Would it be animated or live-action?
You’re asking the wrong person this question. Am not a video game player. Ask Melissa. ![]()
4. You’re going to turn a book into a TV series. What is it? Why would it make a good TV show?
I honestly think Bridget Jones’s Diary would be a better TV series than how the crammed everything into two movies somewhat poopy movies. Can’t knock Hugh Grant and Colin Firth having a sexy man-fight though
, mwah hah.
5. Do you generally prefer the movie versions or the novel versions of works?
For the most part I prefer the book over the movie because I am all about detail and knowing the “why” behind everything. I’m the kind of person who will spend hours on Wikipedia and IMDb just to look up trivia if there is no book to go with the movie.

I had the cruelest joke played on me at work today. I came into work this morning at 8:30am ready to begin my shift. The Logistics manager opened the door looking very serious asking me if I had gotten a call from the Customer Service manager.
Me: Am I not suppose to be here or something?
LM: You didn’t get a call from [CSM] ?
Me: No I didn’t get any phone calls from anyone yesterday.
LM: You were suppose to come in yesterday and you didn’t show so they terminated you.
Me: WHAT? I wasn’t scheduled yesterday. I was scheduled today 8:30am-1pm.
LM: That was for yesterday. [CSM] was suppose to call you and now she’s left it to me making this awkward.
Me: You’ve got to be kidding me. I swear it was today. *feels tears coming up*
LM: They were supposed to call you. You sure [CSM] or [GM] didn’t call you?
Me: No. Dude, I can go home and get my schedule to show you it was for today.
LM: I know, I was just kidding.
Other Employees: *sniggers*
I guess this has been an ongoing joke on a few of the employees the past few days. I was the most gullible too. It took me awhile to get over the shock that I wasn’t fired. It was unreal considering I had just gotten a review (AND A RAISE) and them suddenly firing me. At least I know that if that did happen, I’ve got a hook-up at the shopping center down the street from me. But still … did NOT need that, especially that early in the morning.
I had my first cup of coffee in a week and no headaches so that made me happy! Only thing I am worried about is Aunt Flo showing up on time. Grrr…
