Pippin and Schoolin

First day of school at a new college was alright. Nothing too exciting seeing as its the first day and I only had two classes. I’ve been spoiled with my last 7 years of education because the classrooms I was in had whiteboards whereas my classes today all had chalkboards. I had Yoga and Math today and tomorrow I have Computers, which will probably be my easiest class next to Yoga. Wednesday is a repeat of today and Thursday is the same as tomorrow except I will have my Geography lecture immediately afterward followed by the lab which will last until 5:30pm. Long long day.

This past weekend was a rather pleasant one despite having to work all Saturday. On Sunday I decided to invite Mormor along for a trip to IKEA in which I bought a beautiful glass cabinet to display all my Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and other porcelain figurines. I found I have so many Star Wars figurines that I had to dedicate one shelf for prequel figurines and another shelf for original trilogy. Anyhoo, I had a very nice time with Mormor, despite how crazy she can drive me. We went wandering upstairs in the showrooms so I could find the cabinet, and then we went downstairs to the market street where Mormor ended up getting some seat cushions and glass mugs.

Later on in the day Joshua and I decided to go to Petco to buy ourselves a fishie. I recently brought my box of pet supplies to my house from my old one, and amongst the supplies was a fish tank, rocks etc. so Joshua wanted to get a fish. We settled on a blue male Betta with white fins and his name is Pippin. We got a much bigger tank for him and we plan on getting a few smaller fish so he won’t be a lonely grumpy old fish. I’ll post pictures once the flash on the digi camera decides to start working again.

Your university timetable sounds a lit like mine was last year, with really big spread out days. It kind of sucks to begin with, but you get used to it. :P
Yay for you and your grandmother getting along, that’s always good.
Aww, your fishie has no friends!? That’s kind of sad, lol! I want to get some soon too, one of those funny black ones with googly eyes, just because I think they’re awesome, lol!
