The Friday Five consisted of asking me if I could watch one more thing, eat one more thing, read one more thing, and give a life lesson before I die. I honestly have no idea because I am big lover of books, food, and movies, not to mention I don’t have any real life lesson to leave behind. So that’s my excuse for not doing it.
I am convinced it has been official “Cut Cristina Off Week” as I’ve had numerous people cut me off while speaking in the last few days. It started with my computers teacher on Thursday (whom I’m convinced is a snob) and continued with a few customers yesterday. One customer in particular, who was my 3rd of the day, I am really hoping she comes back trying to return something. She bought several tank tops, paid for them in cash, and decided she didn’t want her receipt. I proceeded to tell her she won’t be able to return because she paid in cash, but OH NO SNOBBY LEXUS LADY DID NOT WANT TO HEAR IT! She shut the door as she yelled, “NO THANKS!” at me. If any of you are familiar with our return policy, you know all she can get back is a mail certificate for store credit. This is why I hope to God she comes back trying to return demanding her cash just so I can tell her, “YOU REJECTED YOUR RECEIPT DOUCHE-BAG!”
I’ve decided to try something new in my blogging adventures and do product reviews, mainly with cosmetics. This primarily comes from my secret obsession with Sephora, which I tend to visit quite often during one of my breaks. I am spoiled where I work because I sephora literally right across the sidewalk from me. It’s awesome. Anyway I shall end my entry today with a review on Benefit’s Cosmetics Galactic Shield.
What: Benefit Galactic Shield! Concealer
Cost: $20
They Say: Blitz that untimely zit with Galactic Shield! In one swoop this precision concealing wand with salicylic acid, will hide it & heal it. Comes in three shades to match your complexion? not your boo boo. Slimline and portable for mid-day touchups.
Cena Says: This is one of the best concealers I’ve come across. I’ve suffered with acne for years so a good concealer is crucial but hard to find. Galatic Shield blends so well and it doesn’t feel like your zit is drawing more attention. I like blending it in with a little bit of green concealer to hide redness and then using a pat of Summer Bisque to seal it in.
Additional Details: It comes in three shades - light 01, medium 02, and dark 03.

Please let us know if she comes back in because I’d love to see how the conversation would pan out between you both. And you should absolutely call her a douche bag. =]
That Galactic Shield sounds really good, actually. I have an issue with spots too. I’m trying Clinique’s range specially designed for spotty skin, and though that seems to be helping, I’m still not happy with my concealer. =/
So on your advice I might have to give it a go when I next get paid. Hope they deliver to the UK…
Have a great week
xoxo
