Cut-sies.

I totally had a Dane Cook moment this morning. For those of you familiar with his experience at “The Wall” I just had a similar encounter except it was on the road and minus the, “I’ll FUCKING KILL YOU!” and add, “I’m gonna follow you around your neighborhood to yell at you!”

After dropping Joshua off at work this morning, I was driving down the road back to my house and in the lane next to me I noticed a black dude and his Mexican girlfriend riding along in a gold Cadillac Escalade. Every time we got to a stoplight and the light would turn green, he’d try to accelerate fast enough to pass me, but he couldn’t catch up to my tin-can Corolla. The lane that he was in was eventually going to force him to turn into a park so in order to continue to his destination he had to get into my lane. Instead of admitting defeat he tries to speed up one last time in attempt to get in front of me. Mind you NO ONE was behind me, but because everyone in Marin County drives on a, “ME FIRST” basis, he tried to get in front. I could see it all happening so I sped up forcing him to be stuck behind me going 25mph through a nearby school zone. At the same time I was turning into my neighborhood he tried to pass me. And when I say try it’s because he thought he was giving me the finger by doing that, but really he lost because I actually let him by getting off the road. So I’m driving along anxious to get home and sleep when I stop at a stop sign and see the Escalade on the other side of my intersection. I just sat there laughing while the black was obviously cursing me out (couldn’t hear anything) and his Mexican girlfriend tried to roll the window down. I was forced to sit there for several seconds because he pulled out far enough into the road to where I couldn’t turn onto my street. Eventually he realized that I didn’t care how angry he was and drove away.

When I got home, I looked out the window several times hoping that they didn’t try to drive around the neighborhood looking for my car. Now that I’m safe, I have to say SHAZAM for my car beating an Escalade! victory dance

This past week and a half has been really rough on my sleep. All last week I was trying to adjust to my schedule, but now that I’m going with the flow it’s hard because of having to close at work every single night so far. Plus Joshua’s car broke down on Monday so I’ve been having to wake up at 5:30am to take him to work, and I’ve come down with a little bit of a cold. Luckily today I don’t have to work, and I can somewhat relax the rest of the week since I won’t have school going on.

My tummy is rumbling so I’m gonna go get me some breakfast. Ciao!

Hahahahaha oh how your blogs make me giggle. That is so funny…if only Dad was there to chase this guy down…That would have been so funny.

How interesting. I’m doing traffic school online right now, and just finished a section on road rage. Hmmm, you should probably have just slowed down and let the bastards just win and leave. However, props for beating them :-P
