When We Met

Today, for the first time since I moved, it rained. I haven’t seen a single drop since the first week I moved to the Bay Area and now finally there’s rain. It’s beautiful I love it.

Below is an excerpt from my LJ written on September 21st, 2004 talking about my previous night at work (McDonald’s) in which I first met Joshua.

Also there was a new guy there, but actually he worked at McDonald’s for 9 months, quit, and then got hired again because he was broke. He’s a senior @ Ponderosa, his name is Josh, he has blonde hair & glasses, he isn’t as good-looking as HCB but then again he is not bad looking either, at least as far as my standards go. He was really nice and we became fast friends. We attempted to have a French conversation since we’re both in French, but he caught me off guard so I really sucked! Nevertheless, he’s very sweet & I hope I get to work with him soon.

You know what’s interesting about this is that I remember sitting down to write that entry and almost didn’t write that little blurb about Joshua because I figured it wasn’t important; afterall I meet new people everyday, and I don’t write little blurbs on them because they never play any significant part in my life. But some little feeling told me, “Hey, you’re gonna want to remember this!” so there you go. I can’t believe it has been 3 years since we met. Soon it will be 3 years since we’ve been dating! Yay!

Heheh that’s cute! That’s why I love blogging and having a journal, being able to look back and see what I thought about things that happened years ago!
Yeah, I took the birthday layout down…because my birthday’s been! :P
I don’t like the cherry blossom one though, so I’ve taken it down already and put another one up though.
