Happy Golden Birthday to my sister and Happy QBee Blog Day! December 15th marks the annual QBee Blog Day in which I talk about the best online pixel club ever.
I joined the Quilting Bee in June of 2004. I had noticed this pixel clique on various web sites due to my interest in fanlistings. I thought the pixelling was adorable and although I was intimidated by the level of pixelling the members had, I decided to give it a try. I was no pixeler at the time so you can imagine how happy I was when I was accepted. I remember I tried explaining it to my parents why I was so happy that day, LOL!
I was a very shy bee at first, and there were a few times I almost got dropped from the club because I was too shy to trade. But soon I began getting a little bit better with my pixelling, particularly each time I took part in an activity. Winning a few awards motivated me to keep going as well as making new friends. Now I’m a Worker Bee and very active bee all around!
If you’re not a member of the Quilting Bee, you should be. It’s the easiest way to meet new people and work on your pixelling skills. Don’t let the fear of not being good enough pixel-wise keep you from joining this amazing and fun community!

Haha cute! I’ve never joined the QBee, pixelling isn’t really my thing.
