Mean School Blues

I can’t believe it just cost me $430 for textbooks. Oh excuse me, $388 when you take away what gift-cards I had. And the most depressing/embarrassing part? I had to re-buy a textbook meaning I didn’t pass a class last semester; therefore I am repeating math.
At least the teacher gave me a NC instead of a letter grade. But still I am really upset I didn’t pass. I felt I got stuff but come tests I just blow. I’m hoping this new class I am taking called “Coping With Math Anxiety” will help me deal with math better; plus the book I got for it called “Managing the Mean Math Blues” seems interesting too.
And now? I need to go back to spend $60 on a parking permit. Yuck. ![]()

That sucks that you have to retake maths. I remember being absolutely abysmal at it at high school, so you are definitely not the only one who doesn’t get it!
I hope you pass this semester though, I’m sure you will, you sound pretty well prepared.
Awe… i get math anxiety too
I find having a math buddy always helps. Is there anyone in your class that you can make a study group with?
*hugs*
HEY!
I hate math as well…I am actually doing okay in it though…but thats because its all math that I took in highschool. Those Math-Anxiety classes sound cool though, I wish they had them at FLC. And yeah! I hate buying textbooks…lame sauce. I will be SO HAPPY once this semester is over. I hope that your math class goes better this time around!
