Giving Back to Capital One

Capital One seems to be the only credit card company that can’t take a hint. Shortly before I signed up for my very first credit card, I was getting offers from Capital One, and as soon as I was approved for my first card, I got HOUNDED with Capital One offers. I was probably getting 3-4 offers from them a week. I decided to sign myself up to opt out of any credit card offers through the mail. Despite doing this, I still get offers every so often from Capital One, and today’s offer was the last straw.

I decided I would “Junk the Junk.” Every month I get a packet of coupons to use throughout my county. I never use them, so I figure since I just received my monthly envelope I’d share the love with Capital One.

wait wait wait… did you just mail capital one a stack of junk coupons? that’s the best thing i’ve read all day. lol!! i’ve been reading maddox for years, but i’ve never seen that. XD

Yup, I did. I was late for weight training this morning, so I went for a walk to the mailbox to drop it off.
