Out to Lunch

Saturday Nine ~
1. When you go to a restaurant do you tip better if the server is good-looking?
Hah no. I tip (or don’t tip) strictly on service and politeness.

2. Have you ever asked anyone to turn off their cellphone in public because it bothered you?
No. The only time I was really bothered by it was when a lady was texting while getting her nails done. Luckily that didn’t last too long for obvious reasons.

3. Is your noon meal called “lunch” or “dinner?”
I call it lunch, but my grandparents are the only ones I know that consider it dinner.

4. Do you generally make reservations first?
Only if its on a Friday or Saturday. We’ve been lucky depending upon where we go.

5. Do you ask for a booth or a table?
We’re usually okay with whatever we get. I always prefer a booth though.

6. Do you ask for a doggie bag?
Only if I don’t finish. It mostly depends on the food/place. Like, when I go to Macaroni Grill to have their spaghetti, I always have leftovers.

7. Would you complain to the management if there were children crying nearby?
No, because what can they really do? I mean unless the children were throwing things or making a huge obvious scene, all they would accomplish is pissing customers off. If anything, I blame the customer. Get a babysitter or go to a family type restaurant.

8. Have you ever sent food back?
Nah, I’m not that picky. My dad has sent food back before though.

9. Do you find servers singing “Happy Birthday” cute or annoying?
I like it when it’s creative. At a few of the Italian restaurants I’ve been to they’ll sing “Happy Birthday” in Italian.
