I upgraded my site to WordPress 2.5! This time I manually upgraded it instead of using Dreamhost’s one-click-install just because I wanted to see if it made a difference with certain files. I was a little bummed at first when I discovered LiveJournal Crossposter was having issues being activated, but I poked around the help desk and found a solution, which worked! Yay!

I have loads to update on. First of all, Joshua got a new truck! It’s a 2000 GMC Sierra and such a beauty! So comfortable and roomy! After Joshua’s stationwagon had been off the road all month he decided to finally make the investment into another reliable vehicle. The problem with his wagon is its old and while he wants to keep it, it was also his primary vehicle. Anytime something would break (due to old age) he’d have to fix it as quickly as possible and basically put a band-aid on it instead of having the time to really work on everything. Now he has the time to do it. My grandparents were beyond gracious enough to give Joshua an interest-free loan so we could get the truck this past weekend.

This upcoming weekend starts my Spring Break, and this year I finally get to go somewhere! Joshua and I are making another trip to the happiest place on earth, mainly so we can check out the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage ride. We’re going to make this trip an opportunity to see the things we haven’t seen at Disneyland since we usually go on the same rides. We’re also going to check out Hollywood some more and go to the Long Beach Aquarium. It’s a well-deserved vacation, and I’m glad we’ll have a comfy truck to ride in on the way down!

My back pain has FINALLY gone down after interrupting daily life for me this past month. It started with totally throwing my back out on March 6th, the pain going away two days later, coming back again another 3 days later, going away a week later, coming back a few days later, and now finally gone as of today. I’ve been forced to miss almost a month’s worth of weight training so I’m rather anxious to get my fat ass back on the elliptical machine.

Welp, I have to get off my sorry booty and get ready for the day. I have loads to do! Business class to go to, chiropractor to see, and some shopping for my trip. Yayness!

I think it’s good your Nana is being kept in the loop about the problems between your cousin and the rest of your family. It might upset her at first, but she’d probably have been ever more upset if she found out you’d hidden stuff from her.
As for Little Women, the version your sister was in sounds like the same one that was on Broadway, I have the cast recording of that on my laptop and I really like it, it’s awesome. :)

Wow.. you wrote a letter stating everything? That’s a really scary move. From everything I’ve heard about your family… that’s quite a risk.. cause it could come back at you in a negative way :( Hopefully it doesnt tho.. and everything works out well. *hugs*

Major kudos for having the strength to write that letter. No, not kudos…COOKIES. Because cookies from me (as my favorite snack ever) really show how much I think you’re a strong and deserving person. :)

WOOT for WP 2.5, WOOT for new truck, and DOUBLE WOOT for Disneyland!!! Take lots of pics, I want to see! I haven’t been to Disneyland since I was like 3yrs old…Disney World is the only Disney park I’ve ever seen.
