The Friday Five ~
1. Where can you get some really good pancakes?
The nearby International House of Pancakes. Denny’s ain’t got nothing on IHOP.

2. How do you like your pancakes?
With butter and regular maple syrup. I’m old-fashioned like that.

3. What’s your theory on why restaurant waffles are so much more expensive than pancakes?
I’m guessing it takes more effort with making waffles having to make them one at a time through a waffle-maker?

4. The pancake chef is going whip up a batch of the most interesting, creative pancake invention you can imagine. What will you order?
Um, I’m not a fan of elaborate pancakes, so I’d just order 3 chocolate chip pancakes please.

5. When was the last time someone made you pancakes, not counting visits to restaurants?
I believe my mom made pancakes a few weekends ago when Joshua and I were up visiting.

Two weeks ago I went into work letting them know that next week on my spring break I’d be able to work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday next week. I got my schedule last night and NO hours next week. I already don’t have any hours this week due to my leaving for Disneyland tomorrow, but next week too? WTF? When next payday comes around I won’t be getting any money. NOT COOL! I know I dislike my job, but geez I’m not ready to be looking for a new one just yet.

Man, what a way to depress me before my vacation. Knowing I’m not getting any money coming in. Neh.

[EDIT] Called work, talked to my GM, and she’s gonna give me some hours next week. Yay money!
