Because my hearing is beyond super sensitive at night, I didn’t sleep so well. So I’ve been pretty tired all day long. I still managed to wake up at 7am, which allowed us to get an early start for the day. It seemed wherever we went today we made good timing, mainly as soon as we left was when people showed up.
After a very filling breakfast in the hotel restaurant, we headed on out to Long Beach Aquarium. I love this aquarium because its the only one I’ve been to where they have Brittle Stars! I did a report on them in 6th grade as part of a class tidepool project. We went on a fieldtrip to tidepools, and I was the only person that didn’t get to see the creature I studied. It was exciting for me when I finally got to see them.
After the aquarium, we headed on over to Fashion Island. Joshua had to drag me out of the pet store there because I was having so much fun playing with the puppies. He was afraid if he left me in there for too long I would have bought one. Truth be told the only thing keeping me from buying a puppy was I wasn’t sure if it would be allowed at the hotel. Man, I can’t wait till I can get a puppy, haha!
We went to Mimi’s Café for a lovely dinner and back to the hotel to relax in the hot-tub. Came back in, showered and have been hanging out watching TV and listening to the Disneyland fireworks go off. And you know what? I called work today, and I officially got some hours! Plus, tomorrow is Disneyland! Woo!

Fashion Island sounds like paradise, haha. I’m sooo jealous you’re on holiday, just minus the spring part because I have severe hayfever. And you really ought to make sure you have both earplugs! Good luck getting better sleep

Aww, puppies!!! I bet they were adorable. I love going to visit pet stores although whenever Chaz and I go it always breaks our hearts to see the kittens and puppies all sad in their cages.
Always wanna take them ALL home with you! XD

Wow… I wish I can go to an Aquarium!! I want to go to the one where it’s underneath and you can see a whale swim above you. Those are the best ones.

Those brittle stars are pretty! i love how they’re chilling w/ sand dollars. You don’t really see those guys a lot unless they’re washed ashore so that’s nifty.
Mmm… hot tub.. i could really go for that. ^^
