LJ Friday Five ~
1. If you had the ability to legally change your name, would you? To what?
Last I checked you can legally change your name. I think this question should be changed to, “Would you ever consider changing your name, and if so to what?” But anyway, to answer the question no I wouldn’t change my name. The only way I’d change it is when I get married.

2. What do you with with change that you receive from banks/purchases/find on the ground?
I put all my loose change in my hot pink piggy bank. When it gets full I Coinstar it for an iTunes giftcard.

3. If you could travel back in time to change the course of one historical event, what event would it be?
Honestly, I’d probably change WWII. But then again in order to prevent WWII from happening I’d have to mess with the outcome of WWI. It’s best if history is left alone.

4. Would you rather live a safe, stable, moderately interesting life or one where every day was dangerous, volatile, and different?
I like living a safe and stable life. If I wanted a more dangerous one I’d become a cop in Oakland, LOL.

5. What do you think you’ll be remembered for when you die and, if you could, would you change it to something else?
Hopefully for just being a good friend, wife and mother. That’s all I’d want and I wouldn’t change it.

The Friday Five ~
1. Among your acquaintances, who’s the best screamer?
HAHA, my mom does the funniest scream. It’s hilarious.

2. When was the last time you had to shout in order to be heard?
Hah, this morning. Joshua was involved with his Star Trek I had to shout just so I could ask him if coffee was ready.

3. When was the last time you cheered for anything?
Oh geez, I have no idea. I think I cheered for the Jedi that came on stage to do the Jedi Training Academy performance at Disneyland. Ask Josh, I was really anxious to see some Jedi.

4. Whom did you last yell at?
I think I yelled at Bella. She climbs on everything and anything to get my attention when she wants to be let outside.

5. When did you last lose your voice, or at least find yourself hoarse?
I think sometime back in 2006 when I got a really bad cold. I remember barely having a voice thanks to a lot of coughing.

I was going back through my entries from two years ago when I just got hired at Old Navy. I was so happy with my job back then. Now, ever since I’ve been at this store I’ve been miserable. I think it’s a really good thing I have the opportunity to take this “Minerals Master Class” at the Sephora University. I get some actual make-up experience and then it can help my chances at getting a job at the Bare Escentuals Boutique, Macy’s, or Nordstrom’s right by my house. I’ve said it many times, and I’ll say it again: I love working for Gap Inc. I just hate the way my store is ran. I haven’t been given the chance to grow with my skills and instead I was horribly misled. I like the people there as people, but I’m not impressed with how things are ran within.

Two years. Longest job I’ve held. But it’s time to move on.

That sucks that you’re feeling like your job isn’t worth it anymore, but I agree that there’s no point in staying there if you feel like it’s time to move on. I hope things work out. :)
