Lack of Kindness

You would think that the older generations would be more polite considering they were raised in an era of manners. But how can they expect us to “respect our elders” when they can’t even respect the people around them?

I go to the grocery store buying 4 items and head to a line that appears to be the small-item-checkout. This old lady with a shopping cart full of items clearly “line hopping” is about to proceed to the next line but then decides to back right up into the one I was in clearly cutting in front of me. The last few times I’ve been to the store buying one or two things people have let me in front of them. Did this lady? No. She didn’t even look at me. Not to mention she stood my line up because she was bitching about a $1 difference on tomatoes.

Argh. People are so rude sometimes.

I agree. Older people are always going on about younger people having to respect their elders, but they do not show the same courtesy. It annoys me.

old people drive me bonkers! absolutely bonkers. i used to work at this disc bread store.. and seniors day was the worst. so i never feel bad about telling an old lady how it is. lol.
