Peace on Our Side

Me

Today the family met up at a little restaurant called Strings Café to celebrate Morfar’s 90th birthday. Joshua and I drove Mormor and Morfar up, while my parents and sis took Nana. When I saw Nana, I embraced her crying as I apologized how sorry I was for hurting her with the letter, and that I just wanted us to be okay. She cried back telling me she loves me and we’re okay. That right there made the visit so much more enjoyable, since I was a wee bit nervous on the way up. Yet despite all the cousin drama, the immediate family was able to enjoy a peaceful, awkward-free lunch. That’s what it’s all about. two thumbs up

Yesterday after work (I only worked 6-9am) I hung around the house for a little bit while Joshua messed around with his truck. Later on in the day we made our way into the city where I did some shopping on Market Street and Union Square.

I Went Shopping

Because I had some coupons for New York & Co. I wanted to get some nice interview/new job clothes there. Unfortunately there wasn’t one anywhere near where I was shopping. Joshua and I ventured to Daly City’s Serramonte Shopping Center where I spent (according to Joshua) 45mins trying on clothes. In my defense, I usually don’t spend that long trying on clothes unless, like in this case, I don’t want to have to come back to return anything. Plus, I got some really cute stuff!

When we finally managed to get out of the city, we relaxed at Chili’s for dinner where I was able to satisfy my restaurant-french-fries craving along with a Cosmo. The best part is there’s still leftovers for today! Now, excuse me while I go snack on those!

Yeah I really enjoyed Sundays get together. I called Morfar today (it being is birthday) and Mormor told Morfar to ask me if I am depressed about my weight because I wasn’t talking that much. I am not depressed! I don’t know where she is getting this from…. I was just extremely tired. Honestly. Haha
