Some Past Busy Days

I’ve been spending my free-time the past few days going through all my old blog entries on here to put them in their respective categories and to clean up the code. As I said on Twitter, I can’t believe it took me till April 2007 to quit using target="_blank" on all my hyperlinks. Not to mention how many times I had to TinyURL! really long urls. Super annoying! Thank goodness I know better now, eh? ;P

Yesterday I had to endure the painful process of getting four cavities filled. The worst part was having the Novocaine injected. I HATE needles! After having to sit there for literally 5 minutes while they injected me, I has beyond freaked out. I was shaking and teary-eyed, which made me feel even worse for being such a pussy. It took forever for the Novocaine to wear off, and I felt bad because I couldn’t smile. My man was nice enough to bring me dinner and a chocolate milkshake.

Day 1

SO! As I said previously, this past weekend was the big MBCA-SFS drive. Joshua organized the entire thing and while the first day started off a bit rough, the weekend was overall a huge success. In fact, we might be organizing another event next year. The first day we all met in Folsom and drove up to Auburn, through Georgetown, down to Coloma for our lunch stop, over to a winery, and then back down to the local Benz dealership; we had 27 cars total although some people took off during different parts of the trip. Day two we met at Starbucks near the dealership and drove up through my hometown, into Placerville, up to a winery in Camino and back down to Jackson; 22 cars joined us that day.

Now that I know what to expect, I’m looking forward to helping Joshua plan next year’s event. And hopefully by then I will have my own Benz to drive! ^_^

    Boo about the dentist but yay for Joshua for being such a sweetie. :) I hate the dentist too…blah!

    That is so cool that Joshua organized the whole thing! :D It sounds like it was a blast! I’ve never been on one of those, or really heard all of what they are about. Imma go look at all the photos now! :hah:
