Yay for Mamas!

Happy Mother’s day! Whether you’re a mom of kids or a mom of pets (we love them just as much) yay for you! 
Yesterday afternoon I ventured into the city with my grandpa to help him interview new tenants for an apartment my grandparents own. Due to Mormor’s delicate condition and Morfar being a softy when it comes to tenants (the Crazy Lady who lived in my duplex before me), I was asked to go with him. For a place in the city, it sure was nice! While it’s old and has a VERY small kitchen, it’s still in better condition than my place. I’d move there in a heartbeat, but obviously that can’t happen for numerous reasons, haha. The new tenants, approved by me, are really cool people so I know they’ll enjoy it and take care of it.
Shortly after I came back from the city my mom and sis arrived. I cooked Chicken Cattitore, my mom’s favorite dish, and I baked chocolate chip cookies. I was gonna get a six-pack of Michelob since it’s her fav beer, but when it came time to pay for it I was a dumb one who forgot their wallet (including ID) at home. 
Yeah, smart Cena.
Smelly stayed the night at my grandparent’s house while my mom stayed with me. This morning I gave her my present, which was a 1993 Mary Poppins doll I won off of eBay; back when it was originally released my mom held off on buying and of course was never able to find it again thus kicking herself ever since. She was very happy to finally have it!
We walked down the street into town and had coffee and pastries at a little café. Around noon we headed over to my grandparents house and had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch.
After lunch Smelly and I headed over to the nearby Apple store where I bought a beautiful black 160GB iPod named Ebony. My sis had maxed out her Nano and wanted to buy Galinda off of me thus me getting to upgrade. I was going to wait until August/September to do the upgrade, but since I quit Old Slavy and I get a 10% discount for being a Gap Inc. employee I was forced to do the upgrade now, haha. My sis now has Galinda, whom she has renamed Ivory, and I have Ebony, tee hee. I got a plastic protector for her as well so she’ll stay all perdy!
Eventually mom and sis left me so I went back home to work on my business project. I should be working on it right now, but I’d rather blog to you peoples.

Aw that sounds like a fun time with you and your momma and sister! I should get a shirt like that to wear too, I bet my mom would cry with happiness or something. XD
