Now Sober

Well that certainly was a first for me, haha. Joshua found it amusing that despite how loopy I was I was still able to code HTML correctly. Hey, I had to make sure my audience knew what a Tauntaun was, hee hee. It was a first for me, being drunk, and after experiencing it I don’t think it’s something I want to do again.

Saw Phantom of the Opera yesterday and it was awesome! This time around I got really good tickets. We were in the Grand Tier which is just above Orchestra. We were right in the middle so naturally excellent view. I did have to switch seats with my sis because I’m a shorty and there was a super tall lady sitting in front of me. The usher was a camera Nazi and chose to pick on me for taking a picture of the stage and yet there was flashing of cameras all around me. :grr:

This time around the actors did a much better job than the last time I saw it. The cast fed off the audience’s energy, something I think makes such a difference with plays. The special effects were awesome as always, and I loved the Phantom of the Opera scene with the candles and everything. Both Joshua and Smelly loved it as well. Definitely worth seeing!

After the play we took Smelly home and went over to Joshua’s friends house. His friend made alcohol beverages for us while we watched the Star Wars original trilogy. Like I said in my drunk post, it was great fun watching Star Wars with a bunch of geeks that are into it as much as I am. It was even funnier watching it tipsy mainly because I can quote those movies front and back, including the aliens!

I had two Cosmos and 1½ Strawberry Daiquiris plus a neapolitan ice cream sandwich. I think the ice cream sandwich topped it off because that’s when the drunk puking began. barf Don’t worry I was graceful and just made frequent trips to the bathroom. On the way home my drunkness caused me to have a wee bit of an emotional breakdown, but Joshua put up with me through and through. He helped me into bed when we came home and took good care of me. Needless to say I won’t be getting that drunk anytime soon. Yeesh.

Today my stomach is feeling a bit sensitive, but other than that I’m feeling fine. I’m planning on going shopping with my mom and sis, and then we’re gonna go see Prince Caspian later this evening. Yay!

Awh! Hehe XD I haven’t been drunk many times either. Maybe one serious time and then the rest just a buzz thing. Feeling sick from that kind of experience sucks!!

Ooh…jealousy! I wanna see Phantom!! Prince Caspian was a good movie, I love Narnia! :D We went to see Indiana Jones last night and that wasn’t too bad of a movie. Won’t ever top the first three, of course, but hey it’s Indy! XD

Hope you have a loverly time tonight!

OMG LOL! Well I have to say, as amusing as the drunken blogging was, the sober blogging is rather more interesting!
I saw the photos on your Flickr and the theatre looks awesome! :D

Hahaha, your post below is hilarious! I can just see you sitting at the keyboard typing and coding. I bet it was a blast. I have never been drunk either (except now you have lol) and I am just not really interested in it. I have a “phobia” of vomiting and so that is the reason why I never drink too much. I don’t want to throw up. I hope you had a fun time, but that it’s not something that is going to happen all the time :s

I saw Phantom about a year ago and it was absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best stage shows I have ever seen. It was really the special effects that made it so amazing too! I would go again for sure. I am glad you enjoyed it
