The Friday Five ~
1. What’s too spicy for your tastes?
Chili peppers! Sometimes just using a tiny bit of the crushed flakes can be a kicker for me.

2. What’s too sweet for your tastes?
Imagine the typical birthday cake the bakery section of the grocery store sells. You know, the only that has more frosting than cake? Yeah, way too sweet!

3. What’s too salty for your tastes?
Soy Sauce. I barely ever use it. Even the low sodium soy sauces are still too salty.

4. What’s too bitter for your tastes?
Haha last time I was at Joshua’s house his parents had me try some beer they got from a friend. Man, it was nasty bitterness!

5. What’s too sour for your tastes?
Lemon/lime juice. But then again, who has that stuff straight up?

Man I cannot tell you how happy I am that this first week of summer school is over. Monday through Thursday it has been the same routine: I wake up 6am, get my coffee, try to wake up, start washing my hair/face at 6:30am, leave the house at 7:30am, ride my bike to school, deal with stupid people who can’t stay to the right, sit in class from 8am tile 11:45am, ride bike home, eat lunch, try to do math homework ALL DAY LONG, try to whip something up for dinner, do more math homework, take a shower, and go to bed around 10pm.

My teacher warned us on the first day that by taking a math class this crammed into 6 weeks we’d probably have no life. He’s right. I was only able to go to the gym once this week, but that’s mainly due to the fact my mom and sis have been visiting all week. Still, I had to blow off two sections of math homework yesterday just so I could do some shopping. The nice part is we have the whole time we’re in class to turn in the homework, so if for some reason I missed a section or two I can do it during class.

I will have to say that cramming math in like this has been good for me so far. I ready a study tip in my textbook saying continually working is a great way to study. Considering I haven’t had a break from doing math at all this week, I felt very good going into our first test yesterday. Plus a lot of the material we’ve covered so far has been review from my class last semester. I’m just hoping that I really do good in this class, especially since this is the last math class I have to take to qualify me for the math that meets my General Ed requirements. If all goes well this year, I’ll be transferring to a new university next year! Here’s hoping!

As I said earlier, I skipped two sections of math homework so I could do some shopping yesterday. I went up to the shopping center where Old Navy is and went in there to find that the last of the bad management team is gone. Apparently a LOT has changed since I quit, in a good way though thanks to the new President. I’ve been butting heads about doing work with my grandma, so I’ve been seriously thinking about just working Saturdays at Old Navy again. The GM wasn’t in, but she’s in today so on my way up I’m thinking I might stop in and see what can happen. Funny enough, I had a dream last night that I came in and she said no. :s I hope that dream doesn’t come true!

Today I’m having lunch with my grandparents and then heading back up to my hometown once more for the weekend. This time I’m hitching a ride up with my mom and sis instead of waiting for Joshua to come home after work and go up then. This will give me a chance to relax and possibly go swimming. Yay!

The Friday Five ~
1. What’s too spicy for your tastes?
Hmm.. i love spicy foods to a point, like banana peppers and curry and salsa. But stuff that’s redonkulously hot is no fun. Like.. mm.. nacho’s covered in jalepeno’s (sp?) is a little too much for me.

2. What’s too sweet for your tastes?
Hmm.. i’m not overly fond of suger.. like.. none in tea, none in coffee. I don’t mind certain treats.. but i’m w/ you… too much frosting is eek.

3. What’s too salty for your tastes?
Pretzles.. everyyear or so, i’ll give them a chance and after one or two.. i’m just like.. ugh.

4. What’s too bitter for your tastes?
Once again i agree hunnyb! I very much dislike beer. It’s uber gross. Hmm.. i was trying to think of something else.. but there isn’t too much that’s bitter unless you’ve screwed up cooking. lol.

5. What’s too sour for your tastes?
Hmm.. i love sour drinks, and lime/lemons.. so.. umm.. this meme was kinda hard! it’s harder to think about what you don’t like!

———-

Hmm, you’re thinking about going back to Old navy?? Iono hun… i think you might be happier if you found a part time job somewhere else.. once you’ve left a place, going back to it always feels like a step back.. but going somewhere new is like a great step forward.. and it’s good for your esteem and all that jazz. but forgetting everything i’ve just said, i say do what ever makes you feel happy!

Lots o’ luck in your classes! I HATE MATH ARG…good luck. XD

That’s good all the crappy people are gone…if you do get your job at Ol’ Slavy again, hopefully it will be more enjoyable.
