The Friday Five ~
1. What was the last thing you purchased from a vending machine?
I’m thinking a Twix bar. That’s the only thing I’d get out of the vending machine at work.
2. What was the last thing you made copies of on a photocopier?
Not sure but probably to make copies of something for my grandparents.
3. When did you last use a pay telephone?
Oh man probably when I was in middle school like a decade ago!
4. How often do you visit an automatic teller machine?
Not as much as I used to.
5. Which of your daily tasks would you most like to see automated?
An automated food dispenser, kinda like what they have on Star Trek. “Computer… Animal Style Fries from In-n-Out!”

Well… well… okay. Another week of summer school down and only four more to go. This past week has been the hardest so far since I got sick with a nasty nasty cold over the weekend. Tuesday was my worst day and soon after I came home from class I was so whipped I couldn’t do a darn thing; even watching TV required way too much effort. I stayed home Wednesday where I literally spent all day in bed doing math homework. Yesterday I felt 90% better much to my relief since not only did I have another test, but I had an appointment with a personal trainer at the gym. And today I went over to grandma’s to make some money so I needed energy for that.
I have to say our school has made it a pain in the rear to obtain a daily parking pass. Due to me being sick and bad air quality (thank you California fires!) I drove to school instead of riding my bike. For some reason I thought parking only cost $1 a day, but much to my surprise it cost $3. Luckily I had $2 in cash and $1 in quarters. On Tuesday, when I decided to drive, the machine to get my pass decided it didn’t like cash, so I had to go to the nearby market and get change. When I came back to school on Thursday I came prepared with $3 in quarters; however the machine decided today was a cash day and instead ate up my quarters. Luckily I still had my pass from Tuesday so I left it there hoping the campus cops wouldn’t give my car a second glance. When I came out to my car 4 hours later… no parking ticket so YAY!
Other than being insanely busy with school, nothing too exciting to report on. I cannot wait until I am done and enjoy what little summer vacay I have left.

1. The only vending machine I’m familiar with is drink vending machine. But I believe you would never hear of rice vending machine! (uncooked)
2. I make a lot of photocopies…I use the sponsor free copy paper.
5. An automated food dispenser…yes yes…cool!
Oh I’m so sorry to hear you got sick! That’s the worst thing ever, getting sick in the middle of hot, nasty summer weather. I hope you’re feeling better!
Parking tickets can be a pain. There was this time when I got two parking tickets when I got sick and had no choice but to leave my car on campus. UPD are ruthless about giving tickets! So lucky you for not getting a ticket :D Good luck with the rest of summer school! Hang in there!
Gah! I’m so behind on comments! How i love the summertime tho
