I didn’t wash my face yesterday morning so when the mail showed up early afternoon containing my ProActive I immediately tried it out. Kind of not a good idea since it states in their little booklet to go slowly with it the first week of use. Of course I didn’t read this until after I had washed my face in the evening so naturally my face has been a tad red and slightly itchy, mainly along the jawline.
The good news is my reaction is normal for sensitive skin (according to their manual) and nowhere near as bad as my previous reactions to Benzoyl Peroxide. This first week I am supposed to use ProActiv only at night and continue with my current regime in the mornings; this allows my skin to gradually get used to the BP. Here’s hoping I won’t have to return this!

Ooh, yes good luck! I’ve heard good things about ProActiv. :D
Good luck! I really hope it works.
I haven’t tried proactive, but my cousin does, and it does wonders
I hope it works for you, too! I hate wasting money on something that doesn’t end up working. It’s such an inconvenience.
Good luck. I’ve heard a lot of good things about ProActiv.
I use ProActiv, and I love it!
It has worked wonders for me, especially since I have sensitive skin….its nice not having to worry about having a bad reaction to a good-working medicine!
I hope it works well for you!
@Debbie: Wow I had no idea you used ProActiv! I just thought you were a lucky wench who grew out of the acne, haha!
