The Friday Five ~
1. What is your favorite song right now? Why?
I’ve recently become obsessed with the movie “Hello, Dolly” so the song is one I can’t stop singing or listening to.

2. What genre of music makes you the happiest?
Anyone who knows me well knows that soundtracks/movie scores make me very happy.

3. What would you name your band and what kind of music would you play?
Ack I have no idea. I don’t even know would be in my band.

4. What is your favorite lyric of all time? Why?
I don’t have one. I pay attention to the music itself more so than the lyrics.

5. What band/artist could you never live without? Why?
John Williams. He is makes up the majority of my soundtrack collection. Plus he’s the guy responsible for all the Star Wars music, hee hee!

It WAS day one of what the diet likes to call the “4 Day Jumpstart” in which the goal is to drop water weight and bloat. On the site they had a list of stuff food I was not allowed to have which included everything I love like salty foods, fried food, spicy food, and … coffee. Giving up the coffee is the hardest because it’s my morning thing, and if I don’t have it I get the worst headache imaginable. I can even sleep good and without coffee I get this headache. I know though coffee really isn’t good for you so in the long run this is better for me.

Breakfast consisted of cornflakes, milk, applesauce, sunflower seeds, and Sassy Water. It was okay considering my breakfast normally is a cup of coffee with fat-free Coffee Mate, a SlimFast shake, and sometimes a banana. Lunch was some turkey lunchmeat, cheese-string, baby carrots, and another glass of sassy water. I had a mid-afternoon meal of a blueberry smoothie, which was a bit hard to swallow because of my blender not cooperating with the frozen blueberries. I’m not a fan of raw blueberries, as weird as that sounds, but I’ll eat them mashed up in a smoothie or in a muffin.

Dinner was going to be turkey breast, potatoes, and green beans, but I only had enough for Joshua and I. My mom came down to visit for the weekend and decided to stay with us, plus my Mormor’s birthday is today and she wants to do Vietnamese food plus cheesecake; tomorrow the whole family is meeting at a buffet for lunch so needless to say choosing Thursday as my start day was a bad idea. I gave up and am gonna start on Monday. It’ll be good because I’ll have school distracting me so I’m not sitting around the house thinking when I can eat next.

School starts up again for me on Monday and here are the classes I’ll be taking…

Speech 122 - Public Speaking
Math 115 - Probability & Statistics (This fulfills my GE requirement! YAY!)
French 102 - Elementary French II
Coun 125 - How to Study Effectively
PE 169 - Weight Training

Altogether totals 14 units, which will keep me busy. I have to say I love the fact I only had to buy a textbooks for Math and a workbook for French. I also love that my Tuesday/Thursday schedule is exactly the same as it was during Spring semester and it’s with the same teachers for the same classes. Overall, I am looking forward to it, I just wish I had a little more free time prior to the start of this semester.

The Friday Five ~
1. What is your favorite song right now? Why?
I’m kinda obsessed w/ the song “Forever” by Chris Brown. I’d never heard it untill I was watching “So you think you can dance”. And now I love it!

2. What genre of music makes you the happiest?
I love diff songs in all genre’s… happiest? Hmm.. prolly Oldies and show tunes. So feel good.

3. What would you name your band and what kind of music would you play?
Hmm.. If i was ever famous, it’d be just me doing singer/song writer type music on a guitar. So i’d prolly go by my first and second names; Christine Star.

4. What is your favorite lyric of all time? Why?
Oh goodness… only one? I love lyrics. Can’t pick one. I don’t like a song if i don’t like the lyrics… since i don’t want to quote nothing, i’ll quote from my song of the moment…

‘It’s you and me… moving at the speed of light into eternity…”

5. What band/artist could you never live without? Why?
Hmm.. hard.. The Postal Service. I love them with all my heart and if i could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it’d be them.
